I have a 40 year old home and was having multiple electrical problems throughout. I called 3 electric companies to diagnose the problem and give an estimate. One company didn't even come out to the house and quoted 7k to replace the outside and inside panels. The second company took pictures of the panels and quoted me 11k (with a veterans discount!) to replace both panels. Both companies stated that since the house is 40 years old, that will probably solve my problems. Malco Electric sent out Andrew and, even though they do charge a service fee to come out and do diagnostics, I was happy to pay someone to take the time and see what the problem might actually be. Andrew was patient with my multitude of questions, diagnosed the problem in a timely manner, solved the problem (total cost was less than $1,000) and also informed me that my exterior panel was less than 5 years old so there was no need to replace it. I'm grateful to have found a company that I can trust and call the next time I have electrical issues.

Great local company right here in Dripping Springs. They're family owned and have been in business for a long time. They responded quickly to my call, even put an electrician on the phone to ask questions about the problem I was experiencing. I really appreciated that as it might have saved me a service call. In this case, they did have to come out, but they worked quickly, efficiently, and the charge was very reasonable. I am recommending them to friends and neighbors.

We needed our outside electric service entirely replaced and brought up to code (it was 45 years old). We got 4 quotes and they were reasonable and could get to it in a reasonable timeframe. Plus, they had to deal with the City with multiple calls and multiple followup calls to get permits and inspection which is no easy feat! They replaced the box, breakers, and installed a whole house surge protector. And, they had to crawl up on the roof to cut a hole to install the riser and reattach the wires. We passed City inspection the first time!

Thanks Malco for keeping me informed weekly about the City permitting/inspections and making this as easy as one phone call and writing a check! I wish everyone just DID THEIR JOB like you did!

Sheri at the office is super at getting us on the schedule for quick service. The team always shows up on time and handles all repairs efficiently and professionally. I guess we will agree to disagree. Do not agree with your reply to our review!! We DID call back to Sheri's phone call saying they had a opening right at that minute. We were out running errands and did not hear our phone ring. When we did notice she had called and left a message we called back immediately!!! She said thank you for calling back but that little window of opportunity was gone and that she would call us back when she could get us scheduled. Never called us back!! And Mr. Jimmy DID have an attitude of indifference. Wether this is just his personality we have no clue. So we stand by our review of your company!!

Outstanding work by the two electricians who came to resolve several electrical problems in my new condo. Jimmie and Austin were true professionals, checking out not only the problems I reported, but also looking to make sure that everything in my home was up to code and well-maintained. Beyond the work on my electrical panel, they fixed an issue with the outlet and plug for my dryer, labeled my electrical panel switches, and fixed a computer issue with a refrigerator. I want to especially note how kind and patient they both were, listening to my concerns and checking carefully to make sure all the issues I worried about were resolved. They asked me more than once if there was anything else I needed. Five star workmanship and A+ service!!
