I had Rick and Ricky come out for my company, we had a few quotes for the work but Main Stream beat them all! It gets better, when Rick and Ricky showed up they were on time and hit the ground running. Our order was unique and had a lot going on but they came back day after day and got the job done well.

Ricky cleaned up and made sure that everything we needed was completed to our satisfaction and also offered to do a walk through of all the work and also made sure that the working space he needed was as clean as when he showed up the first day.

All in all, this is a fantastic company with very knowledgeable Electricians and journeymen. They are nice and courteous and had our best interests at heart.

Thank you both, Rick and Ricky, I hope to work with you again in the future because you are our go-to Electricians from here on out!

I used mainstream for a house rewire of mine and I was completely impressed with everything. From start to finish they were very courteous very professional and very understanding of their trade. From supervisor to the technicians they did a great job . The office was great how they handled the job they finished my home in a reasonable time frame their pricing was very reasonable as well. A job big or small I would definitely recommend anyone to use mainstream electric.

Rick was great, fast and courteous! He came to my home and installed another outlet behind my big screen HDTV. Did a great clean job! I've been looking for a reliable electrician and now I found one. We're building a new garage soon and will hire him to come back do all my electrical work.

After reading many reviews, I decided to hire them for a job at my residence.
Initially I was okay when the job was done. However I am disappointed that they did not return my calls or voice mails when I tried to report issues after the job. I tried for couple of months and gave up. I came across CSLB license board site and see that their license is suspended. Then I called another telno. I spoke to a person by name Shane. He told me that the Tech who did the job was fired and thus he did not return calls and dropped my calls. I was surprised. I am still awaiting for them to fix warranty issue on the job.

Rick was amazing. He showed up on time, called when he was on his way so I didn't have to wait all day. He was super informative, friendly, patient, and told me all the options I had to install a new 110 outlet for my microwave install.

The day of the job Rick did a great job, was timely, and the end result - I have a working microwave!

I even spoke with the owner, Shane, and he was just as pleasant. His company really strives for customer service, and that's what I really appreciate. I am a single girl who has no idea about contractors or electricians but I felt comfortable letting Rick do what he needed to do. They took great care of me. I will use them in the future and definitely recommend them to others.

Rick came to our house today to install a new breaker box and also fixed a couple of our switches that haven't been working well for awhile. He was courteous, very informative and did an excellent job and I would recommend this company to anyone.

These guys are great! My electrical box overloaded and blew out the main circuit breaker to the house on a Sunday night. These guys came out at 10pm on Sunday night and got me up and running! They replaced my electrical box, installed a second meter for my duplex, and grounded all of the electrical outlets in my house. They were friendly, professional, fast, and mostly importantly, they did a great job. They also cleaned up and made sure to put any moved furniture back in its original location. I would definitely use them again!

This was just a horrible experience. The guy who came out for an estimate was perfectly nice before he had my business, after that he didn't seem interested in talking to me at all. The 2 guys that came for the job didn't seem to even know what the job was, they had to go shopping for 2 hours after arriving, and even then they ran out of cable, so they had to go shopping again, and then bridge it to a second cable(I was having an extra ethernet port installed).

Also, they completely messed up the outside of the house where the cable came in, and said they were only responsible for the cable and nothing cosmetic to the house, so I had to have my painter spackle and repaint it. The wall plate was also not properly lined up to the pre-existing electrical outlet- again, I guess it's not their responsibility.

The communication was extremely unprofessional. The guy coaxed me into paying cash by lowering the price by 20 dollars before the job was even finished. I feel so stupid now for having agreed. He was here until 11pm the first night and just left without saying anything, with excess cables and wood debris all over the living room floor. I had to call the next day to get them to come back out, because for all I knew maybe he considered the job done since the cable was in the house now.

Not to mention I also had them work on switching some electrical outlets in my room, again they wanted cash, and now half of the outlets do not work and I'll have to have my contractor fix it when he gets back into town.

I could go on and on, but safe to say I do not recommend this company. I feel bad for the guy who actually did the job because he was at least working hard, even if it was poor work and poor communication. I place most of the blame on the guy who came out for the estimate and apparently didn't communicate to the worker the extent of the job. He just wanted my money. I guess anything after that was less important.

Oh, I almost forgot. I noticed my power drill was missing after they left. I called and left a message asking about it, not accusing them of anything. They never called back.
