After losing power to half our house due to a burned out main panel box, we took estimates from various electricians and found that Madison gave us the best value for a licensed contractor who would also take care of the necessary permitting. Also, the owner, was very easy to work with and communicated with us throughout the process.

The work was completed (which was replacing our entire main panel box and breakers) efficiently and looks great. I highly recommend using Madison Electric for your residential electrical needs.

I've used Madison on two big jobs recently, and they do great work. Always professional, upfront and the price is around the same as other places I called (first job, when I was still searching). His guys do good work, clean up, keep you informed of what they're doing. We have an old house with awkward ceilings and no attic space and they tackled the recessed lighting with no problem. Very little patching had to be done after (which I appreciated since I was the one doing it). Highly recommend.

When you find a great company to work with a review becomes easy. Those of you that follow me know that I am not one that gives out a perfect score readily, in fact my history shows that I am actually quite stingy with a 5 star and reserve that score for businesses that truly exceed my expectations.

Madison Electric did just that. Contacted them through the Yelp quote system and Nathan contacted me right away with a quote. Not the lowest, but absolutely what I felt was fair and with their rating, decided to go with them. As you can tell I was very happy with that decision. After a few messages back and forth about the job and aligning our schedules, the crew showed up exactly on time. This guys seemed to have just ""melted"" into my house as they saw the switch, recognized the problem, confirmed the issue and just went right to work. One went right into the attic, started talking to the others in the kitchen and just completed the job in no time.

I have a ton of insulation in the attic so I figured I would need to vacuum when they were done. I saw them clipping and stripping wires like Edward Scissorhands, figured I would need to sweep and clean when they were done. NOPE! When they completed the job I went to take a look and here they were all cleaning up, without any kind of question or anything. One spoke to me about the new light and showed me how it worked, one continued cleaning up and the other was taking all the equipment back to the truck. Well oiled machine, these guys were great.

Absolutely recommend Nathan and his crew. I hope I won't but if I need any more electrical work around my house or as a referral for friends, I know who to call.

Bought a 1920's home with wiring issues. Nathan answered immediately and had his guys out the very next morning. They were both friendly and very knowledgeable. They diagnosed my issue within 5 minutes and had it repaired right away. They swept up any debris and were very respectful of my home. If you are looking for professionals that are reasonably priced, look no further. I will be using them again for future projects. Another plus was their nicely logo'd work trucks/vans.

I needed to get a few outlets working, an outdoor outlet installed, and a switch split to have lights work independent from a fan. The team at Madison Electric came on time, did all repairs as needed with minimal interruption of my work (home office) and got everything done in a timely manner.

Hate to give Madison electrical three star considering Nathan and his team did such an awesome job upgrading our panel and rewire to our ac unit. Nathan referred a patch guy name yeyo to redo our stucco. Yeyo put cement and no stucco on our patch job with dripping paint because he painted it while still wet (wtf). Called him and he said he would come back. Did he? Never did. So beware of Yeyo. Just don't want other customers getting screwed. I wish I can give Nathan a five star rating, but because of his referral, I can't. I hope you find a better patch guy. Not even sure if he waterproofed it behind the patch. Probably not!

Madison Electric was able to come out to the house within a few hours, accurately diagnose the problem and fix it. They also checked some other wiring to be sure the house was truly safe before they left. Communication was great before, during and after the job. Great effort from good people.
