Excellent service. I needed a proposal for a list of items as another electrician I was using had flaked last minute. Nathan was very quick to not only respond to my call, but send everything I needed within hour or so later. Im super grateful and will definitely be using him again in the future. I called Monday afternoon because I needed light sconces switched out for something happening Tuesday and I thought I could do it myself but the installation was unusual. Madison Electric came out the next day at 7am and did a beautiful job! Really grateful for their availability, quick and easy communication, and professionalism figuring out a less than standard job. I don't know if they do a good job but I contacted them to install an EV charger. Nathan was very nice and came to give us a quote. He then was supposed to start the job that was supposed to be done in one day, the week after. He didn't show up a first time and after I contacted him, I thought there was a misunderstanding regarding the time. So we rescheduled and I took off work to be able to be present. Again no show and this time not only he didn't return my phone calls, he didn't even email me back to say he won't do the job. Very unreliable.

Update to the previous review since Nathan responded by saying I canceled a first time. (I'm not Nick btw): I have email threads and text messages left unanswered on the day we were supposed to meet the second time. The first time was canceled by Nathan because he was supposed to get a City permit and he said he couldn't get it and that we have to reschedule. Oh well, good that we have Yelp to get referrals.

Nathan and his team were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We tore out all of our gas appliances and replaced them with electric, and hired Madison Electric to install 240v outlets for all of the new appliances. What really impressed me about Nathan was his level of flexibility. When I called for an estimate, he was able to squeeze me in same day for an onsite assessment and had the quote to me by the end of the day, which was lower than any other quote I received. I was on a tight timeline and needed someone ASAP so that I could get plumbers to start on the next phase of the project. Nathan was able to start 2 days later and had the work done in a day.

Later that week when our new appliances arrived, we discovered that a few of the outlets were positioned in a way where we couldn't plug in the appliances (we knew that this might happen given that we didn't have our appliances yet when the outlets were installed). I called Nathan and he had his team back out to our place a few hours later and the issue was quickly resolved.

I've worked with a lot of other contractors and none of them come close to matching the level of customer service I received from Madison Electric. We have some other home renovation projects coming down the pipe and we will definitely be using Madison Electric again!

I can't praise Nathan and his crew enough. He installed a motion detector(which was done just the way I wanted it) and replaced our existing one as well. He/his crew performed a mini miracle. I have been unable to get anyone to properly fix our motion detector no matter how many times I tried. Well Nathan was able to accomplish this feat. I still can't believe it. And besides being delighted with his success --I have found a responsible and caring professional who stands behind his work. His crew had to return to my home 3 times to adjust and change the type of motion detector until he got it right. Now that is a real professional who can be trusted. Thank you Nathan and crew . You are my electrician forever!

Was told 2 years ago we needed to replace our electrical panel because of corrosion on the main bus bar which was causing breakers to arc. Estimate at that time was from a TV advertising company. Finally, this year, after seeing a breaker arcing, I called around. 2 places never bothered to call back but Madison took the call, made an appointment for next day, and gave us a reasonable bid which was half the big name on TV. He answered all my questions and generally gave off a very professional and knowledgeable vibe. His crew started promptly at 7am and let us know when they were shutting off power. They were finished by 3pm with power restored. They laid paper below the worksite and cleaned up everything spic and span when done. Passed inspection the following week with no issues. Will definitely use them if I ever need an electrician again.

Appliances and lights in our house had been acting out in scary ways so we were happy Madison Electric could upgrade our circuit breaker panel soon after giving us a reasonable bid. All through the process, Nathan Clarke responded promptly to any questions or concerns and his nice crew worked hard so things moved along smoothly from beginning to end. Now our house feels safe again. We will certainly use Madison Electric again if any electrical issues arise.
