I'd heard good things about this company from a neighbor. I waited two months for them to do a walk through because they are extremely busy (as are most contractors due to the economy). They finally came out, walked through, and never circled back with an estimate. That was about 1.5 months ago. I contacted them three times and still no estimate. Needless to say I contracted with someone else. So I can't say this company does poor work, they may be the best, but I'll never know due to the circumstances outlined above.

We just had Macklin Electric install a 20k Kohler generator. It's been working perfectly and we've had 4-5 power outages since it was installed. The Macklin employees are excellent. They do a great job and always meticulous clean up after each job. They've also installed extra power boxes and did a great job.

This is a long overdue review for Macklin Electric (totally my bad). Macklin Electric was quick to respond to our request for a estimate for a major electrical job and provided very quick turn around time on a very reasonable estimate considering the scope of work required. The business is busy and our start date was aways out, but his wife called and said our start date had moved up due to a cancellation. They were on time a welcome change for a contractor and there were Three (3) service trucks in our driveway with his crew out working and from start to finish and testing nothing but high praise for them all. The total job was done and completed and everything tested and the new electrical panel completely and correctly re-labeled and every outlet checked and the final install and clean up was excellent. Justin was here to verify the completion of the job and addressed any issues or questions. Highly recommended and our neighbors have his card for any electrical work they may need. The best compliment you can give is recommending a business owner and his services.

Macklin electric just finished installing the recessed kitchen lights and some GFIC receptacles. Showed up on time with two other installers, did the work promptly and cleaned up so well it was difficult to tell that they had even been here. Lights work great, color temperature is optimal and would definitely call them again.

Because it can be hard to find an electrician to come quickly when you have an emergency, I really value that Justin has come out to service our house twice over the years, and been prompt. He's been very helpful over the phone and does fine work. I will always rely on him.
