Couldn't ask for more. Mike came within the hour. Efficiently replaced the wall switch. Reasonably priced.

After getting up at 6am to drive into SF fir our 10Amappt he never arrived.
I sent good instructions via text message.
He went to the wrong place so I sent again...
10:11 still nada... at 11:27 I get a message from him to stop calling, his mailbox is full, and to stop texting.
Bummed!
Another day wasted for me and expensive to travel to meet people who do not show up.

Stop scrolling and hire this guy.
About Miguel - Miguel is totally professional, knows his craft, the applicable code, what the inspectors look for and what PG&E need. He wasn't the lowest bid on our upgraded panel, but he quickly explained how the leading bidder was low balling by leaving work out. He's really easy to work with - tells you when he'll arrive, what he's going to do and, since in our case he was working in the garage, when he arrived. He always swept up the job site and explained what he did today and what he would do tomorrow.
About our job - We needed to upgrade our service to handle our new electric washer/dryer and induction stove. He scoped out the work and explained what the code was, what PG&E wanted to see and what existing work would need to be replaced to get the inspectors approval. We didn't want a big beefy conduit bolted to the front of our Victorian, and Miguel figured out how to run it behind a column so that it would be invisible to the street. We could t be more pleased. See the pictures for details.

Called to ask about flickering lights issue in my house. He directed me to call PGE first because it may be an issue they can fix. I appreciated the honestly and his willingness to help resolve my issue, even if it meant that he didn't get the business.

I called to have an electrician come and do a small job. I should have known by the way this guy answered the phone that this was a mistake -- no greeting, no business name, just hello. Ok fine. We decide he will come out in 40 minutes. I'm waiting by the door. Later I see a text on my phone with a picture of my house saying I came, I'm leaving. I asked ""Oh, did you ring the bell"". The reply ""I called I texted, find someone else"" Who shows up and doesn't just ring the bell?! You were literally steps away. So weird. I'm glad I didn't give this guy any money.

Mike was amazing! I called him with an emergency- my kitchen electrical had failed and I had a fridge full of food. Mike appeared in less than 20 mins, identified and fixed my problem, and was a nice guy to boot. In this expensive city, it was great to hire someone knowledgeable and good at the job.

Miguel has done lots of work for us over the years. Many different electrical jobs including putting in new wiring, new plug sockets with GFCI, installing thermostats, ring doorbells, security cameras and installing lights. Always very responsive to needing work. He's friendly and explains what he is doing. He gives counter suggestions if what we are asking to do might not work, or if he has a better suggestion. Miguel actually had to redo some work that was done at our previous house that was done by a subcontractor. They messed up the wiring and couldn't even work out what they had done wrong, despite several visits. Miguel came in and diagnosed the problems in minutes and fixed them quickly. Miguel charges decent rates for the work, and since he is such a hard worker, he gets a lot done in the time you are billed for. Definitely recommended as your go to electrician.

Miguel (Mike as he likes to be called) has to be one of the most honest, reasonable & punctual contractors I've ever seen in my life. This guy is rare. If he says he'll be there at 8am, he'll be there at 8am sharp. He explains everything he's doing, and doesn't mind answering questions. No hidden costs, he'll give you all the receipts for materials. His pricing is more than fair and he stands by his work.

Miguel has been my go-to electrician for many years, and I have referred him to several friends too. His prices are fair, and he arrives on time (and even early) to jobs. Best of all, he is an expert electrician. I trust his work, and his estimates. Highly recommend!
