Definitely will use him again if the need arises.

This project just entailed connecting a 240V receptable to 6 ga wires to use with a car charger. He came the same day and took care of it.

Byron did exceptional work in my home! He did rewired my kitchen, bathroom, replaced all outlets (GFCI and regular outlets) and switches, and replaced all fixtures with new ones in the kitchen, bathroom, hallway, and all bedrooms.

Kitchen- updated the receptacle for electric stove/oven, installed hood, replaced old outlets, added/replaced outlets with GFCI and regular, replaced switches with dimmers, added two way switch to control dining room light

Bathroom- replaced main light and vanity light, updated switches with dimmers, added two way switch to control light at hallway entrance and bedroom entrance, installed new exhaust fan with brand new wiring, added three gang box for vanity light, fan, and outlet. Added outlet behind toilet for bidet.

Originally, the three bedrooms did not have lighting on the ceilings so he installed brand new wiring for them,.

Living room- installed recessed lighting with new wiring, nine total with two way switch

He also added two new dedicated GFCI outlets in my garage for the two garage door openers.

Also replaced/ upgraded my sub panel.

Byron is professional, did all his work timely, and informs you what would be best. If he saw that there was an issue, he would troubleshoot it and make sure it is in perfect operation. Byron is definitely worth it and highly recommended!

I contacted Byron as well as a few other electricians to get a quote for my radiant floor heating system which recently stopped working. Byron was one of the fastest to respond and provided a very reasonable estimate. He was always very responsive - I called him and asked him several questions over text before our appointment and he was quick to respond to every one.

He replaced it and he even stayed for a little while after to confirm that it was working properly. I called Electric Tay for two separate jobs. Byron Tay responded promptly for a free estimate, came on time both times, and quoted a reasonable price.

The second time, he came to give me a quote to fix a broken bathroom heated sub-flooring. He spent quite some time narrowing down the issue and took care of some other items in order to eliminate potential causes. For instance, he of the burnt-out floor heating thermostat.

In the end, he concluded that the issue is in the electric flooring itself, for which he doesn't have the required equipment. Since this was an estimate- appointment, he didn't charge me for the time spent investigating and fixing the thermostat.

I really appreciated his honesty and patience. He definitely has all my future business. Byron is solid and dependable, and I'd happy to recommend him to family and friends.
