We were urgently in need of someone to install our stove. The one left by the precious owners of our home didn't work and had a gas leak. M&R was responsive and pretty quickly got us on the schedule. They did a great job at installing our new stove and no more worries of a gas leak.

Great service. M&R Home Services installed our new gas range. They knew exactly what needed to be done and it was a very fast and clean professional installation.

Quick to Response. Came to the house promptly. Appropriately fixed my household project briskly. Will hire them again most definitely.

Took my money, never finished the job, told me to do it myself, and repeatedly didn't show up.
I paid them to move my washer and dryer and install it in my new home.
He delivered it but he didn't have the right cable to hook it up.
He told me to go buy it and he'd come back the next day.
He never showed up. I rescheduled with him, and never showed up.
His wife told me I can just do it myself.
If that's the case... Why did I just pay him 175 dollars? Horrible.
***In response to the company's message: We tried multiple times to get you to come back. We bought a new attachment to make it easier for you to complete the job. We don't know about dryer parts. You should have asked about connections when you were making your estimate. You mention regular customers-- we had at one point wanted to become a regular customer. But never showed up multiple times. Lying and saying you will come and then never showing up is rude and unprofessional. If you didn't want to drive all the way back out here to complete the installation you should have reimbursed us for the cost to install the vent and the cord.
I don't know if you understand how silly it sounds for a service person to take your money and then tell you to finish the job. That is ridiculous. Finish the work you start.
*** This company has changed their response again, now saying that the job was just a delivery. It wasn't. I requested appliance installation and delivery. They never asked what type of prongs or plugs were involved. When he didn't have the part to install it, he said we should go buy the part and he promised to come back the next day.
He never came back. He tried to blame it on us.
As long as you do the research to ensure everything he needs is available he might do a good job.
But-- if he needs a piece of equipment to finish the job--do not give him any money until he comes back and finishes the work. There is a chance he will lie and say he will come back, and he won't. He will miss multiple appointments and waste your time. Most likely he will never come back, and avoid your phone calls. Or... He will tell you that it's all your fault and tell you to finish the job you paid him to do.

I used M&R Home Services for a microwave/vent installation. I was replacing an older vent fan with a microwave/fan combination. They came out and installed quickly for a good price. I will definitely reach out to them for future home projects.

Needed to add pedestals to my washer and dryer. Robert responded quickly and came on a sunday to get them installed. Great service at a fair price.

I'm conflicted writing this review. My initial experience with them was wonderful. We bought a built-in wall microwave and contacted M&R to install it and Robert came out on Sat 6/26. The trim kit we that had to buy separately (because apparently built-in microwaves are like Apple products; you end up paying double the price for accessories) did not fit the microwave correctly. Robert went ahead and installed the microwave in the wall so we could at least use it. He directed us to a website in which we could order a custom trim kit to fit the space and helped me take the measurements needed. He told me that when the trim kit came in to give him a call and he'd come out within a day at no charge to install it. He even fixed a minor issue with our refrigerator door for us. We were extremely impressed with the help he had given us. We happily paid him and thought we'd found a great business to call on for future needs.
Here's where it goes downhill. The trim kit came in on Friday 7/9 in the afternoon. I called Robert to let him know we received it. It was late in the day and he said he couldn't make it out until Monday. No problem. Monday comes around. No call, no show. I call him Tuesday morning. He said was was in another area of town but he'd try to come that afternoon and if he couldn't then definitely he'd come on Wednesday. That's fine. Houston is a large city and I can understand the logistics of trying to cover a large service area. No call, no show the rest of the day. No call through the noon hour on Wednesday to let me know when he's coming. At this point I'm starting to get skeptical of his intentions. I call him on Wednesday afternoon to ask him when he thought he'd be able to be here to install then trim kit. He puts me off again and says it'd be Thursday (today as I write this). So I straight up ask him if he's planning to come back and he hangs up on me.
It's hard for me to resolve the terrific service we received on the day that we paid Robert with the repeated snubs I received for something that he said he'd do for us to complete the job with no further charge. Then again, maybe it shouldn't be hard to figure that out. In any case, I'm disabled due to a neck injury and it's difficult to impossible for me to do these kinds of things myself. So now I'm left with the option of finding another business (and paying another service fee) to finish the job. No matter how fantastic the initial service was, Robert's treatment of me afterward is unacceptable and therefore I cannot recommend this business to anyone.

Wouldn't want anyone else! These guys work hard and they are excellent! Prices are the best, and they will tell you what is needed . Trustworthy, excellent, great job !

Robert did an awesome job! I messaged M&R late on a Thursday, and Robert was out the next morning. I needed my washer and dryer installed after having some repairs done to my utility room. Robert communicated every step of the way and worked quickly. Thanks!

M&R was wonderful. They were quick to respond and came out the same day. They hauled away some of my waste material, and the pricing beat all the competitors (I got quotes from many other companies). I sought advice on some other concerns, and I feel confident in their knowledge and honesty. I highly recommend.
