I was very happy with how Mike helped us out before on some small jobs, so it was a no-brainer to call him back for the bigger job of adding a sub-panel and several 120v/240v outlets to power my garage woodworking shop. I had a lot of ideas for what I wanted and it was great working with Mike to get it all planned out in a way that made sense and kept costs constrained.

The work was completed as quickly as you can do anything during COVID times and I'm very happy with the final product. There was a bit of an issue turning the main power back on due to what turned out to be an existing wiring issue in another part of the house. He found and fixed the problem at no extra charge - for which I am very thankful.

I would definitely recommend Mike to anyone and will certainly hire him again. Thanks Mike!

M. Hearn Electric responded quickly to my service request. He arrived on time, diagnosed, and repaired the problem in less than an hour. In addition, Michael was courteous in repairing another light switch that had a loose wire without charging me. Lastly, he diagnosed and repaired the problem is less than an hour, whereas a previous electrician from Yelp took several hours and wasn't able to diagnose the cause of the problem. M. Hearn Electric is honest and knowledgeable and I would recommend their services to my friends and family.

I have used Mike Hearn services on two separate occasions and I must say, he is by far the best electrician I have ever encountered.
The first time I requested his services it was to fix my porch lights, another electrician came a few days before Mike and this person was horrible. First of all, he charged me a travel fee and all he did is look at my porch lights and said that they needed replacement and was quoting me an outrageous amount. I told him I would consult with my husband, but this is not the bad part. He did not even look at my porch lights to see if he could fix them he just instantly wanted to do a major job and he charged me $120.00 for just showing up to tell me that I needed to replace them all (3 porch lights.)
The reason why I went on about my bad experience is for people to get a perspective on all of the people out there that do not have work ethics or morals.
Mike came and looked at the lights and he said some of the wiring was faulty and that he could fix them, it took him no more than couple of hours to get the job done and for a very reasonable price. I love businesses that truly care about their customers, it is so hard to find people like Mike.
Needless to say I kept his information because he earned my trust. So we sold our home on 11/18/2019 and we had to get a socket fixed in the garage, I needed to get that fixed before escrow closed. I called his office and Sabrina understood my desperate need for Mike's services, I did not want anybody else and she was able to squeeze me in, thank you Sabrina!
He come couple of days before the close of escrow and got everything looking good, again at a very fair price.
Mike and Sabrina thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Please use Mike for all of your electrical needs, you won't regret it.

I used Mike Hearn a couple of years ago....found him on Yelp so was a little concern on who would show up and how good he would be.. He was very honest, and kind. He did a great job and charged me a fair price. About 6 months later, I saw him changing the lights on our condos and street lights in our condo community, I was very happy to see him doing the job!! He now does a lot of our repairs when needed here. This last week I saw that my ceiling downstairs was wet, I called and Mike came over right away, It was a pipe leaking in my upstairs tub. He came out with Marshall and they did a very professional job, fixed the pipe, dry walled and painted my ceiling and again I felt it was a very good price and he did an excellent job. He is someone that is trustworthy and is a very nice person as well. If you need a home repair or are having electrical problems give him a call, you will not regret it!!

Well, I must admit!! All of the wonderful reviews written here about M. Hearn Electric & Home Improvement....ARE TRUE!
Initially I made an appointment with Mr. Mike Hearn, but he ""No-showed."" It turned out that there was a communication snafu. Mike was very apologetic and went way out of his way to make it right. Mike mounted my television and I am very pleased with, not only his work ethic, but his professionalism, attention to detail and pleasant demeanor. I was so impressed with his work that I'm hoping that he will help to complete a couple of additional home-improvement projects I have waiting in the wings. Great job Mike and Happy Holidays!!!

I'm hoping to change this review. Mike came and took measurements/discussed our project we want done - that was about 1 week ago. Seemed knowledgeable and friendly. Answered my questions and offered advice. I've yet to receive an email with the estimate that he said he would send. Left voicemail just now. Hoping to hear back soon.

ETA: He had incorrectly typed our email, and quickly rectified the mistake. Had our quote within a few hours of me leaving this review. Appreciate his quick response.

I gave Mike a big punch list for my business, he did everything I wanted professionally and quickly. Dealing with contractors can be a frustrating and expensive experience. Not with Mike, he is a pro, does what he says he is going to do on time and for a great price. Thanks!!
