Our journey began in 1946 with the founding of Esselink Electric. Joe Lunardi began his career as an apprentice in 1956, earning his Journeyman Electrician certification in 1958. From Journeyman to Foreman, Joe advanced through the ranks until 1964 when he was presented with an opportunity to acquire half of the business. After extensive family discussions, Joe decided to proceed with the agreement.

Years of dedication enhanced the reputation of what became Esselink - Lunardi, and in 1975, the full transition was completed, establishing Joe Lunardi Electric, Inc. Family values are deeply rooted in this Sonoma County business, with the second generation of Lunardis now at the helm. Joe continues to make regular visits to guarantee that all runs well. This is a true story of the hardworking self-made American Dream, now cherished and carried on by the Lunardi family that operates the business today.
