Esselink Electric was established in 1946, marking the beginning of our story. Joe Lunardi started as an apprentice in 1956 and became a Journeyman Electrician by 1958. Joe progressed from Journeyman to Foreman, and in 1964, he received an offer for half of the business. Following lengthy family discussions, Joe chose to move forward with the deal.

Years of effort strengthened the name of Esselink - Lunardi, and by 1975, the transition to Joe Lunardi Electric, Inc. was fully realized. Family heritage is woven into the fabric of this Sonoma County business, with the Lunardi family’s second generation now managing operations. Joe continues to make regular visits to guarantee that all runs well. This narrative embodies the self-made American Dream, now embraced and continued by the Lunardi family who runs the business today.
