Our journey began in 1946 with the founding of Esselink Electric. Joe Lunardi began his career as an apprentice in 1956, earning his Journeyman Electrician certification in 1958. Joe progressed from Journeyman to Foreman, and in 1964, he received an offer for half of the business. After much deliberation with family, Joe opted to accept the offer.

Years of dedication enhanced the reputation of what became Esselink - Lunardi, and in 1975, the full transition was completed, establishing Joe Lunardi Electric, Inc. This Sonoma County business is steeped in family values, as the second generation of Lunardis now leads the company. Joe still visits regularly to ensure everything operates smoothly. This narrative embodies the self-made American Dream, now embraced and continued by the Lunardi family who runs the business today.
