Our journey began in 1946 with the founding of Esselink Electric. Joe Lunardi started as an apprentice in 1956 and became a Journeyman Electrician by 1958. From Journeyman to Foreman, Joe advanced through the ranks until 1964 when he was presented with an opportunity to acquire half of the business. After extensive family discussions, Joe decided to proceed with the agreement.

Years of effort strengthened the name of Esselink - Lunardi, and by 1975, the transition to Joe Lunardi Electric, Inc. was fully realized. Family values are deeply rooted in this Sonoma County business, with the second generation of Lunardis now at the helm. Joe frequently checks in to make sure everything is functioning properly. This narrative embodies the self-made American Dream, now embraced and continued by the Lunardi family who runs the business today.
