John helped us to install a number of light fixtures and ceiling fans in our home and we were pleased with the experience.

From the beginning, John had great communication with my husband and was easy to schedule with for both a quote and for the actual work. He was able to accommodate our preferred day even though it was last minute during the week.

On the day of, John and his team arrived on time and were friendly but efficient and professional throughout the duration of their work even though we had a lot for them to do! He offered explanations and recommendations when needed and was always upfront about extra costs and pricing. They ended up staying a bit longer than expected but finished almost everything and did not complain. He was flexible about coming back to finish the last few minor items on a different day.

There was one small accident where one of the glass globes for our vanity light was broken when they were opening the box, but John offered to cover the cost for the replacement. He and his team were otherwise careful when setting up and working, so that there was minimal clean-up on our end needed after.

Overall, we were satisfied with John's work - his pricing was clear and fair, and we appreciated his promptness and attention to detail. We would use Luminaire Electrical again if we had another project in the future and would recommend them for your electrical needs!

We upgraded our washer and dryer, but the outlet for the dryer wasn't the right voltage. So, they replaced it and made sure it was safe to use. Will definitely use them in the future! Thanks so much!

Luminare Electrical (John Luminare, and his team Marius and Tommy) are with certainty deserving of their 5-star rating! After living 23 years in our home as the original owners, my wife and I finally decided to replace our kitchen box light with updated recessed lighting. I contacted Luminare Electrical via Yelp and received an immediate response. Coordination with setting a time for evaluation of my lighting needs was seamless via both telephone and text. In 2005 I was provided a quote for recessed lighting in my kitchen. My quote from Luminare Electrical differed by only an increase of $10 per installed recessed light, which I found not only a phenomenal value but astonishing as well nineteen years later! Our construction project started on time, around and in consideration of my schedule, was performed professionally and efficiently, and finished as planned. The team was, above all else kind, considerate, very clean and orderly, and extremely knowledgeable. Not only were the specific requirements of my project met, but John and his team offered their expertise and experience to my project with excellent and superior (no hyperbole intended) collaboration with myself and my wife, resulting in our project being completed with even greater satisfaction than either of us could have expected.
I have ongoing electrical projects of varying types that continue to need attention at both my mother's home and my own, which I have already, and continue to engage Luminare Electrical with. I intend to use Luminare Electric EXCLUSIVELY for all of my electrical project needs!

John and his team are wonderful. Came out quickly and did the job professionally with our two ceiling fans, even when running into an issue with the connection to our ceiling. We are very happy with our services and will call John and Luminare for our future electric needs!

Unfortunately we did not experience 5 star service, like all the wonderful Yelp reviews say. Which was the main reason we reached out to John.

John did a full replacement of our old electrical box and as time progressed a few missteps occurred.

Our first issue was that after the replacement we no longer had light in our garage and when we reached out he stated that it was probably not working before the install. It was not. It's very frustrating to been talked down to on a consistent basis.

Second issue a few months later, we had condensation issues (not electrical) and had roofers & other contractors check out our place. They all said it could most likely be an insulation issue right where the electrical box was installed. When we reached out to follow up if he has photos/remembers replacing the insulation he replied with ""I don't recall"". When we had our wall cut to see the situation, there was no insulation right where John's work had been done.

Recently we dealt with our kitchen lights going out , but the rest of the house was fine. It felt like pulling teeth just to verify any information.

Anytime we've reached out for follow ups to see what was or wasn't done during install we got a lot of ""I don't recall."" It would have been easier if he was just honest and said ""Hey, I didn't document anything. I'm sorry. Let me fix up the missteps"". But that's asking for too much nowadays.

We wish John well regardless because at the end of the day he needs to provide for himself just like we all do.

I was changing out some light fixtures, encountered some issues, and am unfortunately a total amateur when it comes to anything electrical.

John helped me diagnose the problem in no time, put up my lights, and tossed in a free circuit breaker. Mission accomplished, and the price was right too.

knowledge and saftey awareness both for the client and the diagnostic process. his diagnostic process and follow up was beyond thorough. the pocess and remediation were explained so that i had a very clear understanding. his communication skills are exemplary!!

I needed two very old hardwired fire alarms replaced (from 1984!). John was quick but thorough, and his prices are fair. The response time was very fast. I will definitely use Luminare again :)

I hired Luminare Electric because of the 5-star Yelp reviews. John Luminare was responsive and professional. He installed an outdoor plug, outdoor lighting, interior recessed lighting, and a new channel light. We were extremely happy.
