Unfortunately we did not experience 5 star service, like all the wonderful Yelp reviews say. Which was the main reason we reached out to John.

John did a full replacement of our old electrical box and as time progressed a few missteps occurred.

Our first issue was that after the replacement we no longer had light in our garage and when we reached out he stated that it was probably not working before the install. It was not. It's very frustrating to been talked down to on a consistent basis.

Second issue a few months later, we had condensation issues (not electrical) and had roofers & other contractors check out our place. They all said it could most likely be an insulation issue right where the electrical box was installed. When we reached out to follow up if he has photos/remembers replacing the insulation he replied with ""I don't recall"". When we had our wall cut to see the situation, there was no insulation right where John's work had been done.

Recently we dealt with our kitchen lights going out , but the rest of the house was fine. It felt like pulling teeth just to verify any information.

Anytime we've reached out for follow ups to see what was or wasn't done during install we got a lot of ""I don't recall."" It would have been easier if he was just honest and said ""Hey, I didn't document anything. I'm sorry. Let me fix up the missteps"". But that's asking for too much nowadays.

We wish John well regardless because at the end of the day he needs to provide for himself just like we all do.

I was changing out some light fixtures, encountered some issues, and am unfortunately a total amateur when it comes to anything electrical.

John helped me diagnose the problem in no time, put up my lights, and tossed in a free circuit breaker. Mission accomplished, and the price was right too.

knowledge and saftey awareness both for the client and the diagnostic process. his diagnostic process and follow up was beyond thorough. the pocess and remediation were explained so that i had a very clear understanding. his communication skills are exemplary!!

in terms of pricing, it is very fair--much less than i expected.

I needed two very old hardwired fire alarms replaced (from 1984!). John was quick but thorough, and his prices are fair. The response time was very fast. I will definitely use Luminare again :)

I hired Luminare Electric because of the 5-star Yelp reviews. John Luminare was responsive and professional. He installed an outdoor plug, outdoor lighting, interior recessed lighting, and a new channel light. We were extremely happy.

John installed a Tesla wall charger for us. He was prompt in communication, drove down to give a quote, and scheduled the install quickly. He gave multiple options and quotes for the installation. On the day of the installation, he was ahead of time. His work is extremely clean. He had to make a couple of cuts in the drywall of the garage but the way he fixed everything was very clean. We really liked John's work and would highly recommend him.

John came out to give us a free estimate for multiple projects. We had him install an ev outlet in the garage and he was able to knock it out in a few hours. The completed work looks very clean. Would highly recommend him to anyone and we will definitely want to use him for our next couple projects.

I don't need to hire for electrical so I don't know typical rates. But I was told by my decorator it was a fair price. They responded immediately! They did the jail b the very next day. They cleaned up along the way and we're polite.
