I contacted Steve after having a horrible experience with a different electrician that I ultimately had to fire. Steve met with me on short notice, he was on time, knew local codes and even found a loose wire in the panel that the previous electrician left. He took care of it for me right away. He was able to get his guy, Chad, in to finish up the remaining items and fix the problems created by the first electrician a couple days later. Chad was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I have some other work coming up and feel confident in hiring them again.

We had an electrical problem over the weekend at my big bear cabin. Called 4 electricians. Ludecke's was the only one to respond. They came over and quickly identified the issue and fixed it at a very reasonable rate. We couldn't be happier with the service. Next time I will call then first.

I own a vacation rental in Big Bear Lake and this past weekend I was notified by my tenants that our heating unit had stopped working. The weather was cold & rainy (snow was expected) so it was very important to get someone out right away. I called a few places prior to coming across Steve's company on Yelp but I was not able to get ahold of anyone. The one company that I was able to reach was just a dispatch. All they could do was pass along a message. They could not tell me when someone would call me back or if they could get out same day. Luckily, I did reach Steve. When I called his number, he answered his phone! He understood the importance of my call and said he could get there within 30 minutes. True to his word, he got to my house within the timeframe promised. Thankfully he found out that my wall unit just needed to be reset due to a safety button that was flipped for running too hot.
Needless to say, I was very appreciative of his prompt service. It can be difficult owning a vacation rental, especially not living in town myself. Having great local people to help really makes things so much easier! Thanks again Steve!!

Steve is very knowledgeable and friendly. He always answers calls and even took a call from me on Sunday morning before Christmas!

Dave came over for a job a few days ago and was on time, did a great job on the work, and was very professional. He also took the time to explain to me what the issues where with the wiring in our new house and what he did to fix it.

These are officially our guys for all things electric in Big Bear!

Update : Still good as ever. An outlet they installed gave way after a year and they showed up instantly (though I live out of town now) and took care of my anxious tenant. Thanks so much guys, you rock. The outlet was not their fault...it happens and they took care of it with just the charge for labor. We really appreciate your service.

Outstanding customer service. After lightening knocked out the power in my garage, and a check of the breakers did not solve the problem, I contacted Ludecke for a quote. Ludecke responded within 10 minutes and suggested I first check to see if it was a tripped GFI receptacle, possibly behind permanent shelving. Sure enough, I found an old GFI outlet hidden behind storage shelves. It had been tripped by the lightening. Ludecke proved responsive, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I'm planning home renovations this spring. After this experience, I would definitely use Ludecke's Electrical Service.

I had called steve to come out to a sunday for a quote to get my cameras installed and have my electrical moved 20 ft since i needed to move the storage shed and the shed had lights inside it. He told me he'd send me a quote monday and i followed up the following tuesday and he said it was going to be the following monday. That monday came and still no quote, so i found someone else. Luckily i didnt go with steve, his plan to reroute my electrical was a short cut by cutting into my bedroom and using the power outlet there. I ended up hiring someone else from down the hill for half the price and he reran it from my electrical box to the back and added addtional gfci outlets for me for future use. Btw the quote finally came 3 weeks later..so glad i didnt go with them.

As far as we're concerned, Ludecke is the only electrician we'll use in Big Bear. Highly recommend. Cannot beat their level of expertise, timeliness, and professionalism!!

Steve from Ludecke's Electrical was so awesome! Sunday we had a problem with a fuse that would either flicker on and off or flip off completely. Since I am not an electrician I did not know if this was dangerous and thus wanted to resolve the issue sooner rather than later. We emailed Steve via Yelp and he responded quickly despite teaching a class down the hill. He was able to come up later in the day and promptly diagnosed and fix the damaged and burned out fuse boxes. The best thing was he is very gregarious along with being professional and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Ludecke's.

Amazing service! Called Ludecke's because I purchased a chandelier that had reviews that said it took people 1-2 days to assemble and put up. Ludecke's has our new chandelier assembled, I stalled and the old removed in less than an hour! He even had to take a couple parts back to his shop to fix! I would definitely use them for anything electrical in the future for our Big Bear rental property. Hands down best service!
