Established in 1944 by Paul Bush, Lubbock Electric Company (LECO) began in a leased space in downtown Lubbock. At first, the company operated with a single service truck and five employees, providing electric motor repair and troubleshooting for industrial motor and control systems. As a service-focused business addressing a growing clientele, LECO quickly expanded its product offerings and services. By the early 1980s, LECO had accumulated more than 50 distributorships and had evolved into six distinct service departments. LECO now occupies more than 100,000 square feet of office, warehouse and shop space. Our team of 75 talented employees, utilizing more than 40 service vehicles, provides exceptional service to industrial clients with premium products from leading manufacturers.
