Established in 1944 by Paul Bush, Lubbock Electric Company (LECO) began in a leased space in downtown Lubbock. In the beginning, the company consisted of one service truck and five employees, offering electric motor repair and field troubleshooting of industrial motor and control systems. LECO, dedicated to service and responsive to a growing customer base, soon introduced new product lines and services. In the early 1980s, LECO had gained more than 50 distributorships and transformed into six unique service departments. LECO currently operates in over 100,000 square feet of combined office, warehouse, and shop space. With 75 skilled employees and over 40 service vehicles, we serve an industrial clientele using top-quality products from the best manufacturers in the industry.
