This company does NOT get permits and are NOT to be working in Jefferson county. They have been fine by Alabama Electrical board. They lie about the entire company and the employees that do the work are not certified.

Texted and emailed Lovelady several times before they responded, scheduled an appointment but never showed up or called.
Very unreliable and unresponsive.

I reached out to Lovelady Electrical to get an estimate for a small project in my home. They showed up on time, were very professional and friendly. I am absolutely clueless when it comes to electrical work but these guys were able to answer all my (dumb) questions and explain the work that would be done. This was great because other electricians could care less whether or not you understand what they are doing to your home. The estimate they provided was reasonable and competitive. Overall, I was very happy with Lovelady Electrical Contractors.

Just had Jeremy and one of his coworkers from landlady electrical contractors came to my house in Gardendale and gave me an estimate on some power work that needs to be done a great estimate and dance and let you go work while they were here was very polite very professional and would recommend him to anyone that needs power work for any electrical work done very knowledgeableVery nice guys

These guy are terrible the absolute worst electricians I have ever hired. It took them 15 weeks to rough-in a 2700 sf house. The owner has no idea what his guys are doing. They would come out to the house and sit in the car until lunch then go to lunch. The worst ran business I have ever witnessed. I had to call the owner every day to get anything out of them.
Left off outlets installed outlets that did not even have wires ran to them, lights that didn't work didn't hook up appliances.

Called Lovelady Electric to get an estimate for doing work on my house. Employee showed up, made a list of items to do and left, saying he would get a material list together and call me with estimate for job.
After a day went by with no phone call or estimate, I called the office to ask what happened. Lady said my work was on owner's desk but estimate had not been completed. She also said she would remind owner to get estimate together TODAY and if he didn't do it, she would do it herself. NEVER HEARD ANOTHER WORD FROM THEM, so I hired another electrician.
I consider Lovelady Electrical Contractors to be highly unreliable and unresponsive to their customers and cannot recommend their employment.

My appointment was at 2P and I received call advising they were running behind and would be here in the hour. They arrived within the hour as promised. James and Chase were respectful and spent the time explaining what they found and how they were going to fix it. James even wrote it clearly on the receipt so my husband would understand when he gets home. They even cleaned up after themselves! I will hire this company again.

The biggest mistake I made was letting this company over to my house after they had failed to show for two straight days. Naturally, Jeremy, the owner also was out of pocket with vehicle problems? on those days. And never could find the time to call me or text me until the day after the no-shows. If I only I had done as my wife suggested and cut contact immediately with these yahoos. They showed finally three days after the appointment. They put in an outlet which no longer works. There are three holes, big holes as in four-inch by four inch , in my finished basement ceiling. Not only does the outlet no longer work but also, coincidentally, the overhead fixture in the bathroom has also quit working. I just texted Jeremy, the owner, have not heard back, probably will be forced to address it in small claims ...do not do not let this company into your home!

I needed a temporary power post completed that I partially installed and I needed the appropriate paperwork to be submitted to Planning and Zoning in Pell City. I already set the post, attached and grounded the power outlet, picked up the meter socket from Ala Power. I only needed the meter socket connected to the outlet and the paperwork to be submitted to the City. Jeremy from Lovelady has met me at the location and estimated that they will need approximately two hours of labor at $80/hour and a few materials the total being estimated just over $200. After they finished, Jeremy called me and requested a payment of $560. I paid, but requested a detailed invoice, since the price was much higher than agreed. I never received the invoice, even though I followed up by voice mail, text message and email. Later I learned that the paperwork has not been submitted to the city, so now I have to hire someone else to submit the permits. After this, I think the two stars are generous.

They installed several outlets throughout my home, and left grease all over my walls, sheetrock on the floors, and did not clean up after they left. Most of the outlets were crooked and looked like they were installed by an amateur. Would NOT recommend.
