I don't know if I caught Lou on a bad day, but he was the rudest person I have dealt with. We recently remodeled several rooms in our townhouse so I can handle different personalities and conflict resolution. Needed a few small electrical things fixed (a chandelier taken down and some outlets that just stopped working) He came in, was very curt and short with me right off the bat. He hit my dog with his ladder, granted she was in the way, but made no apologies or attempted to slow down so I could move her before he set up the ladder and hit her with it then had her trapped in the stairway. I used him on the recommendation of a realtor friend. Would not recommend him to anyone. Seriously, the rudest person I've ever encountered.

I love Lou Kantor. He is the best electrician I've ever worked with, simple as that. As a professional interior designer in the L.A. area, I've worked with many electricians over the years. I recently needed someone to upgrade my Mom's home in Encinitas. I found Lou on Yelp. He called me back right away and even came over that day to assess the job. He sent me my estimate the next day and fit me in two days later. The job scope included the conversion of (heavy) old fluorescent box lighting in the kitchen and 3 bathrooms to new recessed lighting and wall mounts, new ceiling mounts in the hallway, new exterior lighting, and capping off an old ceiling fan fixture. He also cleaned up the jumble of smoke, carbon monoxide and various other detectors installed with previous security systems. A+ for technical skills and, equally important, A+ in communication. Lou explained everything clearly in a respectful, professional manner. To top it off, he's a really good guy. The construction industry needs more Lou Kantors!

Lou Kantor Electric is fantastic. He installed 3 ceiling fans, 2 bathroom fans and a dining light fixture for us. We are extremely happy with the work. He responded to my call within 15 minutes and was able to give me a quote over the phone. He was available to work two days later. He was clean, respectful, professional and friendly. He laid plastic drop cloth over all of our furniture. He made no mess and worked quickly. He also tried his best to make as few drywall cut marks as possible. He was very thoughtful and clearly skilled at his work. Not to mention reasonably priced. He is very fair. A nice family man and super mellow too. My dog was so chill around him. If you are looking for an electrician for your home, I highly recommend Lou.

Lou has been working on and off for us over the past couple months as we recently moved. He is very flexible, easy to schedule and work with and has gone above and beyond our expectations. He comes up with solutions we didn't think of and cleans up everything really well. Highly recommend!

Lou really knows his stuff! He has worked in my recessed lights, installed additional plugs, and helped with breaker issues. He works fast and efficiently, answered any questions I had, and made things work smoothly. I've referred several people to him and they have told me how much they appreciate his work.

We just moved to Poway and were referred to Lou from a family friend. He was excellent and I will definitely use him for future electric needs. The wiring in our house was outdated - switches didn't turn on the right lights and the ceiling fans were not working. Lou stuck to his quoted price and worked efficiently and cleanly. I felt bad that he had to go into our super hot attic during the summer in order to fix the problem but he was very professional and never complained. I couldn't be happier with his work and am so glad that everything works the way it should! Thank you Lou!

Hi All.... Lets face it you never know whos going to show up when you get any kind of contractor... as a Real Estate professional I cant speak highly enough of Lou.
