STAY AWAY!!!!!!!
I called out Marc because we needed the power back on at our property located in Lake Elsinore. He came out right away and told me he would take the job and have the power back on within two weeks. This was the only reason I hired him because he assured me he could get the power back on. Throughout the process Marc started out professional but it took a turn real quickly. I have a business and am extremely busy so I hired a licensed electrician to handle the job start to finish. He got me involved multiple times. I ended up going down to the city because Marc's drawings were not approved and he ""didn't feel comfortable pulling the permit for us"" his words not mine because some issues of non permitted items that were there before we bought the house. We set up an city inspection and Marc was on vacation. He did not show up to his own inspection and he also did not pass. He was yelling at the inspector over the phone about how he was wrong about everything he was saying. The city inspector told me he's going to make this harder for me now because he yelled at him and put him down as a person. Before the inspection took place I had to tell him the new codes for 2024 that he was not aware of, he did not listen to me so the inspection was a fail. I had to hire my own employee to install a part that was required that I knew about that Marc said he never installs in new panel upgrades in San Diego and didn't think it was needed. When it was indeed needed and I wanted to pass but it did not pass anyway as other items like 2 grounding bars were not installed by Marc even thought the city asked him to install it. I ended up paying my employee and also paid for some materials. I also paid around 400 dollars for the permit which he put in his estimate bill that he was paying for. And he never took it off the bill. Marc is comfortable having us pay for items that he was responsible for, his customers pull the permit for him, draw the site plans, call the inspection number to create appointments and wants to bill for it like he did it on his own.
I would not recommend this company to anyone I know. I believe he cares most about being right and if that's the contractor you want to work with go ahead. Marc told us it would be thousands of dollars for materials when the normal cost for a new panel is between 2,000 and 3,000 dollars. So when he charged us $9,400 we felt like we were completely taken advantage of. This company and Marc in specific are very dishonest. I feel as though I should be receiving a refund check from him for all the work that I did for this project.
My wife called him on the phone telling him all of this and he just barked at her over the phone and demanded the money and then threatened us with a lien on our house.
We paid him thousands of dollars more then a normal panel upgrade is even worth.
We asked him to waive the last 20 percent of his bill because of the items above that happened and he lost it over the phone. We were willingly to work something out but he gave us no choice but to write this bad review and save the next person from receiving service from Losacco Electric.

Losacco Electric and his team have worked for my Real Estate company for years and finished every job on time with great attention to detail.

Losacco was called to check whether my portable AC unit had caused any electrical damage when it turned itself off after being turned on with a loud noise. The SDGE guy had checked the Breaker box and found no damage, but Losacco apparently did. He asked for a check for $350 to come back the next day and check if there were burned wires at the AC unit outlet. He came with his apprentice, checked wires in the garage, and started cutting holes in the walls by my front door, nowhere near where my AC unit was located. He continued cutting holes in my first spare bedroom and rewired that room on one side and then installed new outlets there and the next spare bedroom. At the end of the day he wanted $4730. I requested an invoice for my insurance. It took almost two weeks to get that and it showed a charge of $4100. It showed no record of my $350 or the $630 he overcharged me. He also never fixed the holes in my walls, he told me I had to hire someone else for that! Losacco told me all my outlets needed to be replaced and my Breaker box was outdated and should be replaced because there was a danger of electrical fire. He emailed an invoice that showed the $4100 job, and a charge of $5900 for replacing the outlets for the whole house ($2000 for moving furniture), plus $3900 to replace the Breaker box. Again no mention of my $980 overpaid. I decided to let him replace the rest of the outlets and his apprentice came and spend 6 hours on the other half of the house. Since the $4100 job had already replace about half the outlets and my kids moved the furniture, I expected to pay about $2000 for that job, but no, he wanted $3900 and said since I had signed the invoice I had to pay, and I regrettably did! By now I noticed that he did not rewire anything even near my AC unit and I had not asked him to rewire my bedroom. In fact, his invoice claims that he rewired all bedrooms and the living room. Not true! I could not get an answer from him about that little discrepancy! I emailed him to give me back my $980. He then sent me an invoice for the Breaker box for which he wanted to charge $3900 but he had subtracted my $980 to make it $2920. I still wanted my money back and did not want the Breaker box job done. I noticed that my original invoice had disappeared from my email and there was only the $4100 invoice and another invoice that appeared forTroubleshoott cost of $250, Repair cost $450 and ""non refundable deposit due upon signing of $350"" ??? That one suddenly disappeared again but the Breaker box invoice now showed $2920 plus $600 for furniture moving ??? I ignored all of that nonsense and told him to give me back my money. So now he tells me that he paid for the permits at the County and SDGE and he is not refunding that money but out of good will he is sending me a check for $390. Needless to say, that check never arrived. I called SDGE Projects Dept. and asked about the permit and they found no record of anything at my address. It looks like he was desperately trying to create fake charges so he would not have to return my $980! I think by now it is obvious that Losacco is a scammer and he still has not returned my money! Beware, he talks a good game but he is dishonest. I have the email, invoices and my house as proof!

Marc and his team were perfection. We had a fast, affordable quote and an instillation date within 24 hours of opening an Angi job. Communication remained a 10/10 even after the job was completed. We will only hire Lasacco Electic from here on out!

Marc came and did a couple of jobs for us.. one was putting outlets behind our TV locations and the other was putting in an EV charger and helping us decide which one to get.. he quoted us a price and in between our discussion and him ordering it, the price went up, but he still honored what he quoted us. He's friendly and responsive to boot! We highly recommend him and will use him again if we have further projects.

Marc is very knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. He arrived on time and definitely knew what he was doing. His price was fair to both of us. I highly recommend Losacco Electric

We contacted Marc Losacco to take care of a couple of projects we've been putting off for a while: a kitchen electrical outlet and a whole-house surge protector. He scheduled us promptly, showed up on time, gave us a reasonable quote and completed the project in a morning. He and his associate were professional and careful to protect our home and possessions. We would not hesitate to hire them again.

""Third time's the charm"" is what happened here. After an electrical concern became an emergency, Lossaco electric was the only company that not just responded, but executed perfectly. Mark was able to:
-diagnose and explain the issue
-provide and implement an immediate solution
-educate and provide important insight
-beat his own ETAs
While I wasn't thrilled with pricing, I don't hang out with enough electricians to know what's normal for this type of job. That being said Mark was accommodating and offered a veteran's discount. I am grateful for and delighted to highly recommend Losacco electric.

I must share what a lifesaver Mark Losacco from Losacco Electric is. We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel and ran into a major electrical problem. This was beyond my handy husbands knowledge. I called many local electricians. Only a few calls back and one entirely rude guy. Not only was Mark the owner pleasant from the beginning, but he was punctual with coming over to quote the job, he showed up for the job, and he did everything he said he would do and more. I was on a MAJOR time crunch due to a cabinet installation and he rearranged his entire schedule to accommodate us. I give this guy a 10 plus and if you need any electrical needs give him a call. 760-533-8359. You will not be disappointed.
