Tom is a very professional and knowledgable electrician. He called me back in short order and was able to schedule me in after I am sure was a long day of work. He gave me several options for a hot tub connection, and a PG&E fix and was very honest and reasonable with his pricing. He wrote me up the estimate I had requested in a very timely manner and it laid out very nicely what his hourly rate was and the supplies he would need for the job. Tom will be on my shortlist for any future electrical work.

Tom is AMAZING! We live in an older house, our electrical system is either not properly functioning or out of code. We needed to install flood lights cameras/motion sensors. Although, Tom was off today, Saturday, and had plans to do other fun things. Tom was able to fit our small project into his day. After he finished the project, he came back and fixed other items for free, gave us tons of valuable advise. He was knowledgeable and efficient. His prices are beyond reasonable. Tom is a one-man outfit who specializes in installation of residential and commercial Level 2 (240V) charging stations in Marin County. We called him to put a Level 2 EV Charger at our house in Terra Linda. Called him on a Saturday and he came right out and surveyed our situation to give us a detailed estimate, which we received the next day (Sunday). The estimate was very reasonable and was a ""not-to-exceed"" bid, meaning that he'd charge us the lesser of the bid or the actual labor incurred.

Once we agreed on the estimate, we ordered the charger he recommended and it was delivered on Tuesday evening. Wednesday AM he commenced the work. He worked all day and well into the evening Wednesday, even through a strong rainstorm. He also had to run conduit under our house, which was all muddy because of the recent storms, but he didn't complain and didn't dirty up our house either.

He was almost complete by Wednesday night, but came back Thursday AM to finish up and instruct us on various issues.

Throughout it all, Tom was professional and extremely good communicator and guided us through the process which was very new to us.

I'd heartily recommend Lory Electric for any similar jobs.
