I have an old house that's been redone so many times the wiring looks like spaghetti. I did some demo to open the house up, and needed significant rewiring. I was afraid I'd never be able to explain what I wanted. I called Lopez Electric, they came over the next day, and immediately figured out smart solutions for my wiring needs, they did the job in less than a day for an extremely reasonable price. What I love about this business the most is that Manuel, the owner, actually picks up his phone when you call! Thank you Manuel. His crew worked quickly, cleanly, and gave me a very reasonable price with regards to rewiring my kitchen for a remodel. I am very satisfied and happy to know that I now have a go to electrician. Manual is just a super nice guy too and his son works with him as well, which is so sweet.

Mr. Manuel Lopez is a sincere and thoughtful guy. Its been my experience that when you hire a specialist, this is very important quality to have. Because we don't know whats going on inside the walls or in the attics, specialists especially electricians can cut corners and give you the appearance of a job well done until later you have problems, or worse a fire, because the job wasn't done correctly. This was the case for the old house we had Mr. Lopez and his team work on. The Previous electricians slapped up a dangerous network of wires that gave outlets power but not the right amount of power to tolerate full loads from many modern appliances.
In his gentle and patient way Mr. Lopez was able to diagnose our problem explain it to me and get power back. We hired him again to set up 4 dedicated circuits from the power box up through conduit outside of the house and back into the attic to provide more power to big power areas of the home, kitchen, bathroom, laundry area. It was a big job, he and his team were highly professional, clean and considerate given that they had to climb through a teenagers closet to get to the attic to do the work.
If you want an Electrician who you can trust, who really cares about doing the job right for you, and will give you a fair price. Go with Mr. Lopez at Lopez electric. They're good people.

The last I used they did a great job so I called in July for a problem with an out door light and a wire problem for a kitchen light. The guy look at the outside light and said the switch was set wrong when he came to the kitchen light he said it had a bad wire. Well two weeks later we had to have the outside light replace as it was broken and we had to call Gill Electrician in to work on the kitchen
Yesterday 9-21-15 I get a bill for the work from back in July I told the person who sent the invoice the samething I just and the response I received was ""ok thanks good to know have a good night""

Pros: seems knowledgeable. easy to schedule, on time.

My regular electrician was not available and went to yelp in search of someone else. My mistake for not asking what's the minimum for a house call, mostly because I've never had someone charge me a full hour and limit the work to only the one thing I had called about if that one thing took a whomping 20 minutes.

Furthermore, at $150/hr minimum whether that one thing you called about took 5 mins or 60 mins (more $ if it takes longer), I question how people define ""affordable"" these days. That's double my regular electrician's rate and my regular electrician would be willing to do other simple stuff for me if that initial troubleshooting takes significantly less than 60 mins.

oh well, lesson learned.

Suddenly last Wednesday (today is Monday) no oven or range ignition or fan. Called 7 others before I talked to Manuel this morning. He said he could come by at 3 p.m. or sooner. Was here early, immediately got to work and solved the problem. Explained fully what the problem was and was very reasonably priced. Our Hero!

Gave Manuel a call because I ran out and bought 2 brand new Air Conditioner window units. I was desperate to get them installed as I didn't know how so I called Manuel after finding his information on Yelp. He came on the same day and did a great job. He was polite as well. Definitely recommend anyone to give him a call to help up with electrician needs.
