Our company has been family-owned for more than 67 years. Founder Kenneth O. Long skillfully operated the company until his death. In 2009, Son-in-Law has continued the legacy. Today, Long Electric is Abilene's power firm lacking any debt or outside financial dependency.

In 1976, Fred became part of the company after managing at Aileen's until it shut down. He began as a stock assistant and worked his way up in the firm until partnering with Ken Long as Vice President. He is currently the President of the company.
