During 1963, Ken acquired the colleague's stake and rebranded it to Long Electric Co.. Later, a business entity was formed with Ken as the only proprietor. From that point forward, Long Electric Co. has executed power projects on commercial complexes, healthcare centers, educational institutions, churches, manufacturing plants, civic centers, stadiums, judicial centers, various residences, and numerous other jobs. Our company has been family-owned for 67 six and a half decades. Owner Kenneth O. Long successfully led the business until his passing. Since 2009, Son-in-Law has continued the tradition. The year 1976, Fred joined the firm after running at Aileen's until it ceased operations. He started as a warehouse helper and worked his way up in the company until partnering with Ken Long as the VP. He is now the leader of the business.
