Kenneth O. Long initiated the path in the electrical field in 1951 alongside a partner. The firm was originally named Plowman and Long Electric. During 1963, Mr. Long bought the associate's stake and rebranded it to the business as Long Electric Co.. Subsequently, a corporation was established with Kenneth as the sole owner. From that point forward, Long Electric Co. has executed electrical jobs on commercial complexes, hospitals, academies, religious buildings, manufacturing plants, civic centers, arenas, judicial centers, homes of all sizes, and countless various jobs. Throughout this duration, Long Electric Co. has never failed to finish a one assignment or neglect a invoice. Today, Long Electric Co. is the most established family-operated electrical service provider lacking any debt or outside financial dependency. Our company has been family-owned for more than 67 years. Founder Kenneth O. Long skillfully led the firm until his passing. After 2009, Son-in-Law has maintained the legacy. Today, Long Electric is the leading electrical contracting service provider lacking any financial obligations or external funding needs.

The year 1976, Fred joined the firm after overseeing at Aileen's until it shut down. He commenced as a stock assistant and worked his way up in the business until working alongside Ken Long as the VP. He is at present the President of the business.
