By 1963, Mr. Long bought the associate's interest and renamed it to the company to Long Electric. Subsequently, a corporation was established with Ken as the exclusive stakeholder. Since then, Long Electric Co. has completed wiring work on retail spaces, hospitals, educational institutions, churches, factories, community hubs, arenas, courthouses, various residences, and many additional projects. During this period, Long Electric Co. has never not succeeded to wrap up a single project or overlook a invoice. Long Electric Co. has been family-owned for more than six and a half decades. Creator Kenneth O. Long effectively managed the business until his death. Since 2009, Fred Armbruster has carried on the tradition. Today, Long Electric is the most established electrical contracting company free from any debt or third-party financial dependency.

During 1976, Fred entered the company after running at Aileen's until it ceased operations. He began as a warehouse helper and worked his way up in the firm until working alongside Ken Long as the second-in-command. He is at present the head of the firm.
