I had an awesome experience I called the day before and Lone Star sent the technician out Daniel he was great free estimate checked breaker box, plugs and lighting. I have always been scared of electrical services because of pricing but the price was reasonable and I felt much better once he fixed everything and Daniel even explained as he checked everything. I would use this company again.

We had Lone Star wire a new electrical box with new fuses, add the wiring of outside lights and an outside outlet, and do all the wiring for a hot tub. We paid them cash. We have had nothing but trouble. The outside GFI plug kept switching off. It's been replaced 3 times, twice by Lone Star. The electrician who replaced it today waterproofed the housing and pulled a ground wire out of the wall to attach it to the plug. DUH! In too big a hurry to attach a ground wire? The spa is the biggest problem. The wrong wire was used underground, so now we have to pull out all the ground work and the spa to have the correct wire installed. Also we need a switch within 12 feet of the spa to cut off the power which is a requirement. This alone will cost us upward of $2,000. Lone Star isn't returning calls or answering text messages.They do not guarantee their work. The last time we spoke they wanted $600 to come out about the switch. I do not recommend them.

Website states does in-ground swimming pool light service. Called to schedule a service call and explained the issue I was having. Immediately the advisor I was speaking with said ""problem most likely due to the conduit had collapsed"" and the whole area would need to be dug up (includes pool deck) and a new 24 foot conduit section would need to be installed. I explained that I had spoken with two other electrical service providers that worked on pools and neither suggested this was the issue when I explained to them what the issue was. I was calling Lone Star Electrical to get an estimate and to see how soon they could do the repair (as the other 2 electrical companies could not come out until next week. LSE diagnosed the issue over the phone and speculated that the issue was much more dramatic than what it appears to be.
I felt like this was a repair area that LSE really did not want to do and did his best to discourage me from doing business with LSE.

Horrible customer services. Inaccurate information given over phone during initial contact concerning address, time of delivery of services by company. Wasted time on this company. Do not recommend. Definitely not professional and accountable.

We needed a ceiling fan replaced in one of the restrooms in our shop - not an emergency, just an inconvenience. Called on Monday afternoon and an electrician was sent the next day. Started the project at 9am and was done by 10am. We just pointed to the fan and he took care of the rest. Excellent work and I would recommend Lone Star to anyone.

We had quite a bit of work done on our new house. They did a little bit of everything for us, from completely installing new breaker boxes, fixing outlets & switches to installing fans & lights. They were reliable, the best price we found, and did a great job. The promptness they had in getting out to us, getting the job done, and being flexible with us was 5 stars.
