Lupe did a fantastic job assisting us throughout what had to be one of the longest kitchen renovations - involving multiple trips on his part throughout various stages of the process. He is sensible and practical - important qualities in someone that needs to understand both the needs of the customer, the county and the existing electrical wiring in the house. Most of all he was patient with us throughout the process and was kind enough to come out several times on short notice to assist during various stages of the install. His team is excellent and professional and we hope to work with him again on future projects.

I had Lupe of Lomas Construction come out to bid on a kitchen/bathroom remodeling job that another contractor had abandoned. Lupe spent over an hour with me and then asked to come out again the next day with some of his subcontractorss to further assess the job (another hour of my time).

After receiving the estimate, I asked him for references and some clarification on the bid. When he was at the house, we discussed a few items necessary to complete the job which weren't mentioned in his estimate. I followed up with an email and then finally a phone call asking him if he'd received the email. He said he ""take another look at the email"" and get back to me, but I never heard anything from him. What an enourmous waste of my time.

From what friends have told me, this is not unique behavior. It seems everyone has stories of contractors and tradespeople failing to show up for appts, not following through on promises, abandoning projects, etc. Whatever happened to professional behavior and common courtesy?

We received a personal recommendation for Lupe and Lomas construction from our real estate agent. We had them fix water damage in the tiles and floorboards in our bathroom. Lupe was excellent - came on time for every stage of the repairs, diligently put down mats to prevent track marks on the carpet, and even worked outside cutting tile in the drizzling rain to get the job done on time. The price was very reasonable, charging us the exact estimate cost. Definitely will use Lupe and Lomas construction in the future.

We had Lupe upgrade electrical panel and bring in new circuits into our house. He did a excellent job! He went above and beyond what we ask for. For example, he made a new covering box for the electrical panel even though it wasn't in the contract before, he didn't charge extra labor for it. He also did a very clean job, he kept all the piping and wiring inside the wall, so no additional ugly pipe exposed outside of our house. He also provided better solution to our house wiring that we haven't thought of it before.

Just had Lupe prep my townhouse for selling. He brought in GREAT folks to paint the place - it looks so good! And his guys really went the extra mile to help me get stuff outta there after my hip went out on me during the move.

It's just so reassuring to have someone like Lupe and his crew that I can count on to do things right.

Lupe provided a very skilled worker to do the repair work, and it was done quickly and very professionally in the same day. The price was reasonable and within the expectation Lupe set when he scoped the job. I will use Lomas again and I recommend Lupe without qualification.

I have used Lupe for about 50 jobs, for myself and my clients. I am a professional organizer and I often need to get a handyman or electrician to a job. Lupe is very flexible, customer-service oriented, kind, calm. He will work at something until it is right. His work quality is excellent. He is both a general contractor and an electrician, so he can do a myriad of jobs. He is also quite adept at simple plumbing, and knows when to call in a licensed plumber. I highly recommend Lupe.

I had Lupe do repair work on a hot-tub gazebo. He was prompt and friendly in all regards. He finished the work in two days, and with excellent quality. He knew exactly what materials to use, whereas another contractor I interviewed had some trouble with this.
