Live Wire Electric is THE BEST electric company I have every used. They have worked on many projects for us for well over a decade, and I'm continually impressed with their (1) promptness to evaluate a new project (2) the ease with which their office communicates with their customers and (3) the quality of their work. And on top of that, their pricing is fair! They are the ONLY company I call when I need electrical help with a commercial property or my home, and the only one I recommend to friends and family. One call to Maggie and it gets done. They always exceed our expectations.

Unfortunately, this experience was BELOW underwhelming. Considering that I was rescheduled and delayed multiple times due to Irma, I was hopeful that the work (minor projects, outlets, etc.) would be completed in a single day. That was a bad assumption. Ed arrived, albeit an hour and a half late to our appointment, he was very polite and knowledgeable. He was at my house for 2-3 hours, and when he left, I was promised a follow up - but received no call, no schedule, no emails, just dead silence. When I did receive a communication a month later, it was an invoice! I (mistakenly, it appears) was under the impression that the quoted work would actually be completed prior to invoicing...

Since then, no attempt has been made to schedule or complete the quoted work, but Joe felt the need to badger me and threaten to put a lien on my house for $300! LOL - Perhaps you should consider treating your customers with respect and finishing the job you promised to complete.

Don't waste your time with LiveWire, find a company who follows through and can actually finish a job.

Beware. They charge $95/hour including one hour of ""driving time"". Our property is located 7 miles from their office and they charged us for one hour ""driving time"", while the technician spent only 30 minutes on-site, did not fix anything and never followed up with what he told us he would follow up on. There are many better Electricians in Fort Lauderdale to choose from.

Fantastic! After Irma I had power line & power box problems. Live Wire was so quick to respond. Joe and Ed did a great job repairing my equipment and also coordinating with FPL to get me back up and running. And Maggie in the front office was a pleasure to work with. Definitely five star service and two thumbs up!!

We had a major ( capital M) electrical issue and after dealing with the first electrical company we weren't very happy . Live wire came in , explained the situation and re wired most of our store . They quoted the job fairly and although there were some small additional charges , they weren't a total surprise to me, since I was forewarned of possible additional expenses . They weren't the cheapest but they do know what they are doing . I would recommend them!!

I can say, however, that they do not follow up with customers who are in need of electricians!

I asked someone to come out to the house and give me an estimate. They did come out and walk through, but I never heard from them again! Quite unusual in my opinion to come out and then not follow up - it would have been a lot of good work.

I am so happy with the service here. It's very hard to find a good electrician in South Florida that is not looking to rip you off. A friend referred this company to me and I will use them for any issues that pop up in the future. I called them late afternoon and they were able to come out first thing the next morning.

Thank you to the staff at Live Wire. They are as good as it gets. We had a major issue and they came out within 24 hours and fixed it for us. We are very happy with the service and pricing. Again they are the best. Other companies would not come out for at least a week and some others never returned our calls.
