LIVE WIRE upgraded a 2 on 1 property for me. While it took longer than I had hoped for, the end result was good and he stuck to the quoted and contracted price. This was a big project and costly, so my only complaint was the looong time, which was under estimated.
A nice touch was a large charcuterie tray delivered to my house as a Christmas thank you! We took it to a winery for an afternoon of wine and this treat! Nice!

Review for Live Wire Electric Company

As we start this New Year, 2025, I want to take a bit of time to acknowledge and say ""thank you"" to Daniel Murguia, the owner and his partner at Live Wire Electric for the work done at my home. I have used Daniel's electrical expertise to install ceiling fans in my garage and guest room along with a switch and fan mount, a chandelier in my dining area, as well as, pot lights in my kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, and bedroom closet.
Daniel was recently asked to install an additional light for the front of my house, as it had only two outdoor lights to cover my three-car garages. Before accepting the job, Daniel reviewed the status quo and notified me of the prior electrician's errors in his installation of the lights, and that how the installation was done, did not meet the code...in fact, it may be a hazard. (I remember when the first electrician installed the lights, he was definitely in a hurry to finish, and to get to another site... it appeared he may have skipped steps at my house to bring in another sale.) Daniel indicated he preferred to not work with someone else's errors, but recommended he rewire the previous two lights correctly and then add the new light I had purchased. His proposal sounded correct as two others had noticed the same errors and brought it to my attention.
Daniel gave me a fair bid for the project and asked if I wanted to clean or update my old light fixtures since the other lights were being temporarily removed while the rewiring was being done. I took the opportunity to update the front of the house with three new lights, all properly installed to code.
Live Wire Electric Company is a great company, small but knowledgeable and professional, friendly and polite. Daniel does a great job, is on time and completes the job in the time proposed. They work diligently, bringing any unknown or hidden problems due to walls, wires, or challenges to the forefront, keeping the client knowledgeable of available options. When the project is completed, they clean the areas where they have worked and leave your home in good shape.

We had an issue with an outdoor outlet that needed the ground wire properly connected. Live Wire came out right on time, and got the issue fixed so we will have safe use of the outlet for what we need. He also fixed another minor issue we asked for.
