Dan installed a new light fixture and replaced three outlets and two dimmer switches in our home. He is an expert electrician who is efficient, friendly, polite and trustworthy. We have used Live Oak at least two more times since my first review and again, the guys were on time and provided a great product. We needed additional ceiling fans installed and more lighting and outlets in my office. I was so impressed with the job they did in my husband's music room, that I wanted the same set up in my office.
If you want professional, experienced electricians who do what they say they will and clean up afterwards, then call Live Oak!

If you want an EV charger installed, look no further. I got quotes from 4-5 different companies all coming on site. They were all pretty high quotes. In 1 minute on the phone, Live Oak told me it would be about half what the others quoted and he could do it 2 days later days. I was a bit skeptical, but he came 2 days later, installed the quad breaker in a packed panel where he had to move some other breakers around, installed the NEMA 14-50 outlet in the garage and was done in 1.5 hours. Total was right on the estimate. If I have any other electrical work, I'll definitely be back.

I was in need of an overhead light replacement. Making an appointment was quick and easy; Ryan came out promptly and got to work. The fixture to remove was not typical, and Ryan was able to remove it without complication and install the replacement fixture fairly quickly. Very thorough; he had light bulbs for the new lighting! and cleaned up afterwards. Very reasonable cost for the expedience and quality of work performed. Thank you :-)

Live Oak Electric recently replaced our aging electrical panel which was becoming problematic after corrosion had caused arcing and the failure of a 240V 50A breaker. The original recessed panel was installed in 1976 on an outside wall.
Live Oak responded quickly to our request for a quote, arrived punctually and explained our options. The existing breaker box was located within 36"" of a faucet which in no longer permitted under the CA electrical code, this meant that anything more than a ""like for like"" replacement would require relocation of the new panel.
We did decide to upgrade the supply from 100A to 200A as part of the install. Live Oak did an excellent job of complying with regulations while minimizing the impact to the exterior, which only required minor stucco remediation.
This is a family business, everyone was thoughtful and polite, keeping us informed at every step of the process. They clearly understood their business as well as the importance of the customer. The work was completed efficiently and to our satisfaction, it was smooth sailing including the final permit inspection. The cost was very reasonable given the amount of work involved.

This was my first time using this company and have to say - I am SUPER pleased. I had to have a whole electrical box replaced and they handled everything from the permit, to the install, to the final inspection. Both Cliff and Ryan are very professional and easy to work with.
