I earned my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University in 1983. After being laid off from my engineering job in 2001, I found myself at a crossroads. You might be curious why an engineer is now an electrician. As with many individuals, I was ""down-sized"" when my organization opted to combine my department with another.

Following several months of seeking employment, I began working in the construction industry to provide for my family. Eventually, I decided to obtain my license and start my own business. And that brings me to where I am now.
