My journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University, which I completed in 1983. I was laid off from my last engineering role in 2001. You might be curious why an engineer is now an electrician. Similar to countless others, I experienced a ""down-sizing"" when my company chose to consolidate teams.

After an extensive job hunt, I entered the building trades to ensure my family had a roof over their heads. In time, I chose to get my license and launch my own venture. And here I am today.
