Used them once before and they were great but called them out for a few outlets that weren't working and they charged me $75 to just push the reset button.
I have hired before. However they charged too much on last job. Replace 5 fixtures and install 3 motion sensor in rooms. Over $800. Not going to use again when billing per hour since they can take their sweet time. Too bad because I had used them before and planned on using then as my official electrician for out business.
I'm a little frustrated by my experience with Lin's. I put the fans together (2) to save time for the electricians and they booted to use the first bracket they saw instead of looking at the instructions for it. I bought a special kit for it that that included an angled ceiling bracket and an angled escutcheon for the ceiling. By the time I discovered they hadn't used it, 90 minutes later. They re-did all the work and it turned out nice. But I paid almost twice what it should have cost for two ceiling fans already assembled and furniture moved.
I recently had new HVAC unit installed at my home. Since the new heat pump is more energy efficient, Lin's Electric was called to replace a 50 amp breaker with a 40 amp. The electricians came to my home when they said they would and completed the required work professionally and efficiently. I will call Lin's Electric for future electrical projects around my home.
Service was excellent. Customer service was abysmal. The workers made it clear I or you would be able to call for payment after services rendered - which occurred late afternoon. Before the opening of business the following day I received a condescending phone call - from one of the owners no less - presuming to tell me my business about the mechanics of paying with a credit card because a number went to voicemail. I don't care how many times you tried to call my partner and failed, it's the timing, or in your case, the lack thereof. People have lives. Businesses aren't going to fail because you had to wait half a day for a few hundred dollars. You don't treat customers like this.

Service call to replace a breaker after having my new AC installed. To be fair, this was included in the AC install. However, the appt was at 11 am and they were an hour early. As someone who enjoyed her time this was perfect for me. The guys were very friendly and efficient.

Been to my home 5 different times, job is still not done. Just ended up firing on the job, and paying 1400 dollar invoice. Will take my service somewhere else.
Hired for installation of plug outlet. Arrived late due to miscommunication of address but job requested completed. Problem begins after completion because of a miscommunication with my son regarding payment. Working as a hospice nurse, I was called to work leaving my older son home so I didn't have to postpone service. He thought I already prepaid but in fact left CC information for him to handle. My son signed the e-doc for service and thought all was completed. Bc my son was disposed in the bathroom, he did not answer the door when electrician returned for payment. The company instructed the electrician to pull my meter and shut power to my house. After learning of all this, payment in full was called in 2:00pm. Several calls to Lin about restoring service only to be told he'll get there when he gets there. An interesting call to JEA and learning that this electrician had no right to shut power. JEA lineman out at 6pm and restored power. Lin electric showed up 7pm, with my meter in his hands and again shut my power to restore the service. The following day, Lin Electric requested a permit with St Johns County for damaged casing needing to be sealed. The best part - electrician in my front yard telling me it was obvious my son and I were just out to con the company. I know I wouldn't risk my license for $163.60. Customer beware.

Scheduled an appointment for an electrical inspection, requested an invoice by email. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and courteous and they were actually early for the appointment. Slight communication issue regarding payment which I had arranged to send in advance was easily handled, and they called me to follow up very promptly same day, when it was received. Would definitely hire them again, and recommend them without reservation.
