Purchased a condo with a 23-year-old HVAC system and water heater and was able to get a quote for replacement of inoperable equipment and new water heater for reliability sake. The highly trained employees of LimRic were on time, knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. We will certainly use them for the semi-annual checkups and other improvements we plan to make. Katlyn Gregory was amazing. She provided me with a quote and was able to fit me in the same day for the new hot water heater installation. Shawn was the technician and showed up on time and completed the job perfectly. It was truly a pleasure to do business with LimRic Plumbing. I called 8 plumbers and only received quotes from two for the hot water heater. The other one could not help me until two weeks from now and LimRic came through with a same day appointment and fabulous customer service. Thank you so much Katlyn and Shawn. **Update** Almost 19-20 months later my $9,840.00 American Standard HVAC system is not working and will not blow cold air and the outside fan and compressor are screaming like the Loch Ness monster is chasing after them. LimRic themselves have done a good job all things considered and have attempted to accommodate me and my family one being a 10 month old who's now not sleeping well at night because it is VERY humid in the house. One technician says ""there's a leak in the coils"" and another says ""the TRV valve is bad"" either way the coil has to be changed to the tune of $1,800.00 in labor. Thankfully they came way, way, way down on the price which I am VERY thankful for and I am currently waiting for my new part to arrive which hopefully will be any day now. 3 stars is for LimRic as their customer service is fine. I dropped the other 2 stars due to American Standard which with a handy internet search revealed others in the same HOT boat as me. I know LimRic does not manufacture these HVAC systems but I personally feel like they should drop American Standard because in the end we the consumers get screwed out of A LOT of money which for me is very, very tight right now.

I appreciate the fact that I could call at 730am on a Saturday and the plumbing problem was fixed by 1130am the same day. It was expensive, but it was a Saturday morning,

Was under contract with them for one year including the 'free' plumbing inspection. First visit for AC was well over $900 on some work that needed to be done but to a fairly new unit. The free plumbing inspection came with a $1500 tab to replace 3 PVC pieces, one turn off valve under my sinks Material cost was less than $100 and took them less than 2 hours if that. The plumbing division is a racket and they charge you for the job no matter what it is vs. per hour/material/labor. My usual plumber quoted $600 but had already had the work done. 2nd AC maintenance check came with a $150 tab to replace a blower capacitor that only cost $6-10. I understand the cost associated with things, but if this is a maintenance check and I PAID for that contract why would the charge be so much just to replace that part? I do NOT recommend this company at all and will not be renewing my contract.

Since this review I had Limric back out to check a condensation pump they installed less than a year back as it stopped working and it was under their warranty. Because i was not under contract they were going to charge me $900+ to ""blow out / clean it"" as it was not broken only stopped up after less than a year. Needless to say i went off and told them to leave unpaid and to have the owner call me. Came back a few moments later and agreed to charge me the $68 service call since i was not informed of the charges associated prior. While there the tech informed me they are required to tell you 3 things ""they recommend"" doing to your unit to better perform whether it's necessary or not.

A new company has recently serviced my AC and was told the work done 1 year back adding the condensation pump was completely unnecessary since I had this unit 6+ years with no issue...and said they've never charged $150 for a blower capacitor. #boycottlimric
