I appreciate the fact that I could call at 730am on a Saturday and the plumbing problem was fixed by 1130am the same day. It was expensive, but it was a Saturday morning,

Was under contract with them for one year including the 'free' plumbing inspection. First visit for AC was well over $900 on some work that needed to be done but to a fairly new unit. The free plumbing inspection came with a $1500 tab to replace 3 PVC pieces, one turn off valve under my sinks Material cost was less than $100 and took them less than 2 hours if that. The plumbing division is a racket and they charge you for the job no matter what it is vs. per hour/material/labor. My usual plumber quoted $600 but had already had the work done. 2nd AC maintenance check came with a $150 tab to replace a blower capacitor that only cost $6-10. I understand the cost associated with things, but if this is a maintenance check and I PAID for that contract why would the charge be so much just to replace that part? I do NOT recommend this company at all and will not be renewing my contract.
Since this review I had Limric back out to check a condensation pump they installed less than a year back as it stopped working and it was under their warranty. Because i was not under contract they were going to charge me $900+ to ""blow out / clean it"" as it was not broken only stopped up after less than a year. Needless to say i went off and told them to leave unpaid and to have the owner call me. Came back a few moments later and agreed to charge me the $68 service call since i was not informed of the charges associated prior. While there the tech informed me they are required to tell you 3 things ""they recommend"" doing to your unit to better perform whether it's necessary or not.
A new company has recently serviced my AC and was told the work done 1 year back adding the condensation pump was completely unnecessary since I had this unit 6+ years with no issue...and said they've never charged $150 for a blower capacitor. #boycottlimric

Fast, honest and reliable! After months of HVAC contractors estimates, interviews and research I chose Limric for my complete American Standard HVAC project. So glad I did. Professional and courteous .A+

My husband called them mid November because our heat was not working. They came out on November 19th. They tested the thermostat and said it was not sending a signal to the unit and wanted to replace thermostat. When my husband discovered that the one they were replacing had batteries, he objected. The technician installed it anyway, stating it was the only one they had on the truck. After the new the thermostat was installed, the unit still did not come on. The tech checked further and discovered it was a very inexpensive sensor. These run about $30 max for our unit. The total bill came to $315, of which $250 was the thermostat, which did not fix the problem. Amazon price on the thermostat - $40. When we called to complain, they said they would send someone out and replace the battery operated thermostat at no charge and replace it with one that does not require batteries. I asked if we would receive a refund for the difference and they said we would. They did send someone else out and he did replace the thermostat and said that it was not as expensive as the other. This technician was courteous and knowledge. I found the replacement thermostat on Amazon for $16.01 from other sellers. When we called for the follow up, they said they were putting a check for $75 in the mail and we would be receiving a phone call. We asked what the charge for the ""Lim-Ric In House Warranty"" was and I have not received an answer. We have yet to receive the check, and they have not returned any of our calls. We have used them before and have been satisfied, but we will not be using them again.

Make sure you get what you are quoted. They changed models on our condensers between our two quotes without telling us first and then back peddled and said they can't honor the first quote. As a military family that moves a lot, it's hard to find trust worthy companies. I will say our customer support lady was really nice and tried her best to help us. But in the end we went with a different company. I hope this helps someone else that's going through this. Do research and dont believe all the bs they try to sell you on.

Customer for 8 years. Replaced hot water tank, air conditioner and heating unit, and then came faucet and disposal. I guess things change, very expensive, and sarcastic service, Had there semi annual service contract which I cancelled. I guess their buying a local company recently meant excellerating pricing on all service in Mt Pleasant. To bad , they do not value the loyalty of a customer ..... Get multiply quotes before you deal with this company..... Lot better companies out there!!

Had a heat pump installed in my nursing home, when in heat mode the unit tripped the breakers because they didn't size the unit to the breakers that it was running off of. Called them to come fix it under warranty when it was freezing outside, but they wouldn't service the equipment because I hadn't paid my bill yet. It didn't matter that I was a nursing home with elderly people. I had to pay another company to come and fix it. Started using the cooling now, and it is freezing up also.
Had a plumbing experience with them too. They said they wouldn't work on my plumbing problem because too many plumber had work on the system in the past.
They claim they do commercial work but I don't think they have the experience or know how.

Thanks LimRic! We came home from work tonight to a chilly house and a heater making some crazy sounds. We called LimRic, and they said they would take care of it tonight. Shane arrived about 9:00, found and fixed the problem, and we're warm again! Coming out late on the coldest night of the year- primo service!

Had clean and check on two air conditioning units performed in March, paid $147. Three months later had to pay $200 to a different HVAC company to repair and replace contactor. Frustrating.

They agreed to come to one of my restaurants on a Friday in order to get our AC up and running for our customers before the weekend. They agreed to the job on Thursday morning. 50 min before their scheduled arrival they called and said they couldn't get anyone out until Monday due to another job. Absolutely atrocious customer service. If you're in a hurry, chose an honest company. If you can afford to wait an additional 2 days in this 100 degree weather, then maybe LimRic is the way to go.
