In my youth, I often disassembled broken items to try and repair them. I recall one instance when I dismantled a small kitchen appliance without realizing it was still plugged in. Indeed, I received a shock, and that incident marked the beginning of my journey. I hail from Florida, where my grandfather worked as an electrician and my dad as a painter. I guess I caught the electrical bug from my grandfather and the business drive from my parents. My parents owned a painting business, and I recall the hard work involved in running a company. I aspire to continue building a successful electrical company that would make my grandfather and parents proud.

Great experience with Dakota! Thoroughly impressed with his work and his love for his craft.
LBE. Thank you for coming back and making my kitchen look great. Thank you again Steve and his team for taking care of us
Laura F.I'm so glad I found Lightning Bug Electric! The office staff has been very friendly and the electricians have been so amazing! Jason and Dell have come to my home a couple of times to do work. They hung a light in my basement and installed numerous exterior lights, as well as an outdoor ceiling fan. Jason even came up with great ideas to add some landscape lighting to our existing system and some unique lights over an outdoor swing. He is really an exceptional electrician and so fast with installation! I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for amazing electricians who are also extremely courteous!
We are selling our home & I had a a project I needed taken care of quickly. I called Lightning Bug Electric & they were at our home within an hour! They sent an email with a picture of the technician who was coming so there wouldn't be any confusion upon his arrival.
When Joshua arrived he was friendly, yet professional. He determined what the problem was & gave me a fair estimate. He went to work right away. He was very efficient & was finished before I knew it! He explained & showed me exactly what he had done.
I was very pleased with Joshua, Lightning Bug Electric & the whole experience. I would most definitely use them again.

Had an appointment set up from 11:00 t0 2;00. At 3:00 I texted them and they said the tech would be there as soon as he could. Later I texted and cancelled since they never showed up or called me.
Cody the service representative came by as promised. We had electric shortages in bathroom and master bedroom. Cody upgraded the electrical panel and changed to Fuse breaker switches to Cobb County code. He was very polite and acted as a true professional in offering suggestions, ideas and recommendations. He is on my list for future electrical repairs and installations.
Amy H.Lightning Bug has done two jobs for us now and we have been very pleased both times. Tim came out to give us an estimate and even suggested things to help us that we hadn't thought of ourselves. Jamie did the work on both jobs and he is fantastic! He is honest, upfront, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have what you need. Everyone we've spoken to has been great-from reception to electricians.
Cale came to fix my bathroom vent fan. He was very patient and nice and went back to get the correct size fan once measuring it and then came back.
It was good service, only it ended up costing extra $75 from what the estimate was.
Hopefully the fan will work for many years!
Good quality work and great customer service. I felt the pricing was a bit expensive but I really don't have anything to compare it to. I spent $1100 to do the following work: troubleshoot/fix a 3-way switch (my hallway light can be turned on/off from 3 different switches but not all of them were working), install 2 GFI breakers for the kitchen, and replace two outlets (with outlets and covers that I bought). The electrician also looked at our electrical panel at no extra charge and gave his opinion on how to change the doorbell.
The technician reviewed the work and the associated cost before performing any work so I knew exactly how much the work was going to cost.
I was in need of 2 chandeliers to be installed with 19' ceilings. I was told the minimum would be $425 with a $30 trip charge. That was fine with me. I made an appointment to get a more accurate quote. When the technicians arrived and presented me with a quote I was in shock. The $425 was just a 'ladder fee'. This is per light install. So it would have been $850 minimum for the job, not the $425 the company originally told me. If I would have know this I wouldn't have waisted my time and the technicians time to come out, plus I would have saved my $30. I feel the company mislead my from the beginning just to get my $30. I will never use this company, very unprofessional.
Oh, the final quote was over $1,500 to get 2 chandeliers installed. I do have 19' ceilings, but the quote seemed outrageous.
