Man, I really love this place, if you could look at my bank account and see what I'm spending money on. This place would come up a lot. I'm in the process of upgrading all of my lighting switches to the Legrand brand. Can across the brand while shopping at Lowes and since they have such a limited selection I've visited just about every local Lowes store I could find. But with the horrible customer service and the limited knowledge at those places I searched the Legrand website to find another local seller. That's when I came across lighting loft. From the first time I walked in there I got nothing but first class service, and when I asked them a question that they couldn't answer in-house regarding the dimmer switches they contacted Legrand customer service and made sure I got the right part. Thank God they aren't open on the weekend or I'd go broke They are my number 1 lighting place.

We've just finished hanging all the new light fixtures that we bought at Lighting Loft for our new home and they look stunning. We couldn't have chosen better and couldn't be happier. The design advice we received from Yaakov and Sally was top notch and the service was amazing. What we anticipated to be a difficult task in the construction of our new home proved to be seamless. BEWARE ANYTHING CUSTOM:
I found the perfect custom light for my dining room after much research and searching. It was on display in the store. To get a new one, I would have to wait 6-8 weeks, but they would be happy to sell me the floor sample at a small discount. After looking the piece over, I noticed it was off center a bit, it hung a bit sideways, Also, with high ceilings in my dining room, I needed extra cable. They assured me this would be taken care of. After some time, I received the call that the light was ready. I'm not sure why it took so long to pick up the light because the cables were not lengthened, which made me believe the light was not straightened, which meant it had to go back to the shop (which hadn't been done). I reminded them again about the issue, which they noted on the paperwork and they told me that they would take care of it this time and I had nothing to worry about. After a week or so of calling to check on the light, it was finally ready for pick up. I arrive at the store, the cables were lengthened and they promised me the light had been straightened. (I should have inspected it better) So, I take the light home, have my electrician install it and what do you know. THEY DID NOT STRAIGHTEN IT OUT. This after multiple emails, multiple trips to the store and multiple conversations regarding the flaw.
Now her is the best part. They want me to uninstall the light, at my cost, bring it to them, waste more time, hold my breath that they actually do their job correctly, pick it back up, waste more time, have my electrician re-install it, waste more money, all of this because they didn't do the job properly from the beginning. This is too common in today's marketplace and I suggest to anyone reading this, please go somewhere else.

I'd say the options available are varied and it's an ok for easy access. A third of them are similar to what I saw in home depot in Buckhead. Seeking more options and similar to circa I came here as I was nearby.
I got four associates to look at me and not one hello, not one smile. It's suppose to be fun, even when stressful, to shop for home improvements.
I wouldn't send anyone here based on today.

Would have been nice if one of the 5 people working there had said something while we walked around for 10 minutes. We did manage to get a 'thank you' as we were walking out the door, so a 'we'll be right with you' or a 'let us know if you have questions' shouldn't have been too hard to manage.

Stephen Buchwald was my sales associate and was very responsive, professional, and most importantly helped me brainstorm different options for my kitchen and dining area. They also have electrical specialist who are great with specialized lighting design. I purchased a pennant light, under cabinet lighting, and replaced all of my canned lights in my house. This small investment has transformed my house and I get regular complements on the pennant light in my dining room. Will be coming back to the Lighting Loft for any lighting needs in the future!

These guys were awesome. We bought a chandelier from them 6 years ago and they gave me a new globe for it even though it's out of warranty. Can't wait to have them design the lighting in our new home!!
