This is a family owned business and I cannot say enough good things about them. We have an older home that needed a new electrical panel, new exhaust fan for bathroom, new outlets, switches, etc. While we found cheaper ""electricians"" we quickly found that some were uninsured and many did not want to pull a permit for the electrical panel. I have read that this could cause problems with selling a home later on if the work isn't done according to code, and also this could be a safety issue if the work was not done right. All work was done promptly and we are completely satisfied with everything. The city inspector easily signed off on the work so that was outstanding. I highly recommend Light it Up Electric!
Jonathan S.This company who is a member of The Good Contractor's List is terrible. They have no flexibility in scheduling. When I asked if I could pay more for night or weekend work, the OWNER said, ""we value our employees' time over everything."" She was sparky and rude. I will never contract them for a job.
This company is top notch. The whole process was easy. The quote appointment was easy and timely. When the electricians came to do to the work a few weeks later, they were efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Glad to have found a company that you feel like you can count on.
Loved they showed up wearing a mask - They called first, they were on time - had parts - Jerry and Ethan were helpful and kind! Thank you
Will call again if needed
Dan M.Everyone I have worked with at this company is very professional and friendly. Arrived right on time to give me a quote and to do the outdoor lighting installation. The job looks great and I highly recommend this company. We are using them for other jobs as well.
called this am...they came out by noon...diagnosed problem....pricing was very fair. jerry and jorge were great. would use them again in a heartbeat.
Lack of integrity. Red Dodge came and charged another $80 for flipping the switch the circuit breaker on and off and changing a light bulb. The service/trouble-shoot charge to come out was $65. He took advantage of an oversight and misstep on me and my husband. Overall, we paid $145 for 20 mins of trouble-shooting. My husband made the comment after he questioned the additional $80 ""that's a quick $150 in 20 mins"". These type of experiences make you difficult to trust those automatic call charges.
Keep clear of Red Dodge.
Scott G.Soon after moving to Frisco and not having a stable of professional companies to support our home renovations, we use YELP to help us in our search. The review write ups and the company's website brought us to Light It Up Electric. Todd, the owner, came out to talk with us about the job and to quote it. We were very comfortable with Todd, his style & approach & with his dollar quote.
Our remodel included adding recessed lighting in both the living room and master bedroom, removing two 60"" fans and adding one of 70"", removing three fluorescent fixtures and replacing them with LED fixtures, adding light timers, dimmer switches, getting a Ring alarm hardwired, and changing the light kit on a fan fixture.
Our two skilled electricians were excellent and great professionals with great customer service skills as well. Love it when professional trades people can communicate with woman or man.
Natasha is an absolute joy to work with on the scheduling and the office aspects of the business.
This has been a great experience and we'd recommend LIUE without any hesitation.
Ben S.Light It Up Electric is a top notch local family owned business. Todd spent more time than most to understand the job and provide a great solution. Red and Jesus did quality work that really impressed us. Reasonable prices and service that exceeded our expectations. I will use them next time without going out for bids and refer them to others.
Class act! Just had my entire house remodeled and put back together. I needed under and above cabinet lighting. I contacted Natasha at Light it Up and her team came out, did the work on time...and most importantly, I didn't have to clean my house after they left! Super professional clean job from start to finish.
If you're looking for a company that doesn't leave you with a MESS when they're done...
Call Light It Up!
