Cannot say enough. I lost electricity on a Sunday evening and Santos came out that same night and my power was back on for the night. Really great.

Summary: Charged $1,000 for repairs to AC and lighting issues in several rooms of the house and the problems were not resolved.

Complaint: 1. AC invoice #1153 dated 07/16/2020 for $1,000.00, attached. I am not happy with the work performed which did not fix my problem. Light It Up spent several hours on my AC unit, my breaker box, and tracing ground wires without successfully repairing the AC and proposed an additional $1601 in work to fix my lighting issues - see #2 below. I had Shumate AC and Electrical come out and determined that I needed a new AC unit which I had installed and fixed the AC problem. I would like a refund for the $1,000 which I paid to Light It Up which did not resolve the AC issue or the lighting issues.

2. Lighting repair estimate #2661, dated 07/20/2020 for $1601.00, attached. Lights were flickering and sometimes do not come on at all in living room, dining room, spare bedroom and main bathroom. During the AC and electrical trouble shooting on 07/16 Light It Up did not repair the lighting and proposed replacing all the lights, switches and outlets. I had Shumate electricians investigate the problem and they found loose breakers in the main panel and unconnected main ground wire in the basement and several loose wires in lights and switches and outlets on one circuit that controlled all the lights in question. They fixed all the lighting issues for $375on 08/05/2020 (invoice attached) well below the $1600 that Light It Up was proposing and Light It Up never found any of the loose breakers, ground wire, or other loose wires.

Took off work to meet ""Light it up Electric"" yesterday between 4-6 pm.
No call, no show ! after confirmed appt. Will never use this company again.

AMAZING!

I cannot sing Light It Up Electric's praises high enough!
He came out the SAME day.
I had called several other electricians who wanted to charge exorbitant prices to even come see the house. Light It Up Electric told me ""I'm not going to charge you if I can't help.""
A few other electricians that I will not name did show up at the same time that Light It Up Electric was first assessing my problem. They left after five minutes once they say he was there, one saying ""We would charge you at least FIVE TIMES as much for the same job.""
Personally, I feel they would not have sweated and worked as hard as Santos who stayed WAY past the end of the work day just to be sure that he did the job right.
He was professional, kind, knowledgeable and even better, knew how to explain the problem using common language so a layman like myself could follow along.
Please do yourself a favor and call him!
I am so very happy that I did.

So... After day 3 waiting on GA power with a closed business I called these folks. They got back to me in about 30 minutes and cheerfully set me up with someone for the same afternoon. The guy got to me just when they said he would. He had me fully up and running in about an hour. Pleased with the service doesn't begin to cover it. They where fair on price too.

I hired Light It Up Electric to do a full replacement of all of my outlets and switches in my house. Ashley and Greg were assigned the job and worked very well as a team to complete the project. They wrote up a detailed list of materials, helped in the selection of the replacement parts (with suggestions on pros/cons with different manufacturers), and were right on time from start and finish the job. My new outlets/swtiches look great! Because of my experience with Ashley and Greg, I would hire Light it Up Electric to come back for any type of Electrician work I need for my house.
