Not happy with their 5 day return policy. I bought 4 expensive bulbs on Saturday and because I work I'm unable to get there during the week. I didn't see their 5 day return policy until I returned home, which was on the back of the receipt. I don't plan on doing any future business with them.

Poor customer service. First time checking this place out - we are pretty bubbly and cheerful, and the female store clerk had an angry tone in her voice. The other male store clerk did not even acknowledge customers. no greeting whatsoever. After providing the female
store clearly information as to what we were looking for, she never followed up with us - no information provided as she she round. it's been over three months. LOL. Run from this business and give your money to a better business that treats all customers decently. Plus you can purchase many of their items online at a significantly lower price.

This review is long overdue! I came to this store with a recommendation of a designer who I was using at the time. Fast forward, this was my first remodel and I had NO IDEA all of the obstacles that were in front of me when I had started. The one calm in all of my remodeling chaos came from this store. Csilla not only helped me choose the PERFECT lights (I am a stickler for WARM YELLOW), but she also helped me choose the perfect smart switches, but took it even further as to come to my home with the rep for the company to help me program each and every one of my smart switches in my home. WHO DOES THAT!? They could have easily pulled a 'figure it out yourself, we're done', but not even close! This company is one of the FEW people/companies that didn't bail on me through this remodel when things got tough. (My home was built in 1930 so there were a lot of surprises along the way). They also referred me to one of the coolest, kindest, most efficient electricians I've met (and trust me, a few have come to this project with nothing but attitude and terrible work ethic). So to say that I'm happy with Light Bulbs Unlimited is an understatement. I cannot say enough great things about them and I am 100% a client for life.

I highly recommend this store. I tried everywhere to locate a specific bulb I needed and of course they had it. Look no further - all these guys do is light bulbs and they had plenty in stock. The staff is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to lighting. I will be back for all my bulb needs - goodbye Amazon.

They know what they are doing but the installers are careless. They broke two antique glasses when they did a cabinet light installation and rushed the job after getting started a couple of hours late. The switch that I provided and they installed worked for a day and I finally had an electrician look at it and they found that they left bare wire that shorted out the switch.

Installers did not take any responsibility for anything.

I needed 12 specific LED tubes to replace the aging fluorescent fixtures in my mother-in-law's kitchen. One call to Light Bulbs Unlimited was all it took to get what I needed - and what was not available at the big-box home stores. The price was competitive and Julian was great to work with. Good humor (we may be taking the act in the road), great service. Any lighting need - start here.

Saturday, the weekend is here! Not so fast, the ballast in walk-in closet light is acting stupid and the pendant light over the kitchen sink has ceased to operate. First task is to find who has part (s). Easy, Light Bulbs Unlimited. They've been our go to place for a wide variety of bulbs and related things for years, as my wife is an Interior Designer. Our call, today, was answered by Mike M. and a brief conversation I sent him some photos of the parts I needed. He had the ballast, so off we went. The pendant tuned out to be the real problem child. Mike checked out the old part, asked some questions, and determined what we needed was a specific original part from the manufacturer. As we were leaving in our car, Mike came running out of the store, with a part in his hand. He had taken a second look and came up with something that just might work. He explained the possibilities and we decided to see if it would be the solution we needed. The pendant is pretty old, simple but very nice, and my wife really likes it! with a song in our hearts, parts in my pocket, we headed back to the home front to do battle. Thought I'd pick the low hanging fruit first, ie, the ballast. Got my implements of destruction together, started the demolition, and realized the new ballast had three wires, one being an additional color. Son of a...! What the...? Called Mike, who provided advice and guidance on finding a wiring diagram. After several ""should I call an electrician "" from my wife, I found what I needed and was working my way through the repair and installation of the fixture. Circuit breaker back on, flip the switch, and let there be light! No blazing flash of sparks, smell of a campfire within the wall, and sprinklers didn't go off. It looks like I got 'er done! The pendant has been put off until tomorrow. Regardless of the outcome, I must say Mike was personable, patient, and thoroughly professional. One can tell he enjoys his work, has years of knowledge and experience, loves helping people, solving problems, and is the epitome of customer service. If you need fixtures , bulbs, or parts , I suggest you call them first. Thanks, Mike, appreciate your help!

This is a great company. We needed lighting solutions for our four-plex remodel. Based on our mid century modern project, they were able to provide design help and affordable products to meet our requirements. This place sucks! So overpriced with an incredibly rude staff. I have never placed a negative YELP review but my experience here was so bad that I felt compelled to. They price gouge over here. I found the same light I was looking for that was literally a quarter of the price! Just terrible and amoral business to rip ppl off like that! Sad!
