Lex and crew came and did their Mount and Go! They were efficient and engaging! Great rapport and excellent customer service skills. Fast and careful as the new TV looks marvelous on its wall mount. Much less costlier than Geek squad with less upselling!

The Tech Guyz got everything right. They scheduled a service call within two days, the service rep was on time, he knew what he was doing and had brought along one item that was missing from the gear I had bought; he finished the job quickly, walked me through the setup, and was easy to deal with. The fee was very reasonable--considerably lower than some other estimates I'd collected and well within my budget for the job. I would definitely call the Tech Guyz again for future jobs of this kind.

For years I have been plagued with spotty wifi reception in my old two-level San Francisco home. When I called the Tech Guyz they immediately understood the problem, indicated that it could be resolved and sent one their technicians, Lex, to my home to evaluate the issue. He was very professional and immediately saw how to fix the problem and told me much it would cost. He did a perfect job. I now have strong wifi throughout my home and able to stream music through a Sonos connect device (which he also installed). I am very, very satisfied.

Don't give these guys a task that requires any kind of expertise. They are fine with instant plug & play, but anything more complicated than that, they will blame on your equipment, your receiver, your tv etc etc.
They do not understand multi-channel audio or anything that requires thinking.

In response to Alexander D.'s long & convoluted responses (""ye doth protest too much"")--we have received no refund. When a business has 3 chances to correct their errors and just doesn't get it, it's time they refunded the full amount they took. That's good business and in our experience Tech Guyz are not reputable. Unfortunately they have no innate sense of engineering or wiring.
We went to another tech installer, he told us it was wired incorrectly, fixed it in about 10 minutes. It was worth the extra charges to get these ""guyz"" out of our life!

Tech Guyz came on time and where quick/professional. They installed a TV on my brick fireplace it is looks fantastic. Would recommend them to anyone wanting a TV mounted.

I hardly ever write reviews but these guys just left and I felt compelled to do so.
1. Plasma TV died yesterday so I booked an installation of my new one for today.
2. They gave me a same day window of 3-4p.
3. 3:50 and they're not here so I'm losing faith
4. Someone calls at 4:30. Truck had been towed while on a job on Market Street but they'll still get the job done today if I want to wait at least 90 min (yes, please).
5. They show up around 6:3- after retreiving their truck from the DPT, which I am sure was annoying and tiring.
6. They do the job fast, politely, enthusiastically and we are all set to watch football on thanksgiving!
7. They discounted their rate by $50 (from $150 to $100) for being late

This is NOT the geek squad alright. I've had the Geek Squad and they just don't care about there quality like the Tech Guyz. My system was down and now has risen.

To clarify, The Tech Guyz have another outpost in SAN MATEO. 100 North Bayshore Blvd. Fortunately, I knew that or I would not have called them.
We moved into a home that appeared to be cable-ready but wasn't really. When Comcast came out, the wire were cut but still in the walls and the outlets were on the walls like nothing had ever happened.
Lex and Benji showed up and took care of wiring to the 2nd floor quickly and neatly. In fact, it looks better than four of the houses on our block. They had everything they needed, brought booties and explained what they were doing. Tip: if you have one of their trifold brochures, you get 10% off. Fee for using credit card but they do accept checks.
Professional and they left no mess. Lex was knowledgeable and reassuring. Would def use them for other work.

If you haven't tried these guys out, i don't know what you are waiting for! They are the cheapest, most efficient, and friendliest guyz you'll receive to handle ALL of your needs! I recommended the Tech Guyz to my friend and he was amazed at how early they arrived to his apartment in downtown SF and was even more pleased with the way his 50 inch flat screen graced his living room wall! And on top of that, the guyz even mounted pics of him and his pug Berry! Football parties are going to be even better thanks to the Tech Guyz!
