Ernest C.Had my tv installed by the tech guyz last weekend. Timiesha, who set up the appointment and provided the quote, was very professional and even communicated with me via email (so much easier when you are at work).
Lex, who did the installation, arrived on time and was done in less than in an hour. He was patient and just as OCD as I was about the position, level of the TV, and concealing the wires. He even helped set up my chromecast and showed me how to use it.
Getting a sound bar soon, won't even bother calling other techs for installation. Highly recommend calling Timiesha at tech guyz and asking for Lex to help with mounting.
Lex is a great guy---diligent and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him and this company.
Marina T.I called the Tech Guyz to schedule an appointment to re-connect my tv to the receiver and Xbox so that my system could work seamlessly with one remote control. They were able to fit me in SAME DAY - Lex showed up, was very knowledgeable, and got everything to work perfectly in about 30 minutes. He was very polite, personable, and professional. I am a big fan and will recommend The Tech Guyz (and Lex) to all my friends without hesitation!
Can't say enough positive things about the professionalism, service and level of expertise that Lex and the Tech Guyz have exhibited during two separate installs! Appointment time was kept on both visits (even did a free consult before second install) and he stayed until the tasks were complete and brought his own cleaning tools. Very reasonable pricing and actually cheap if you count the bonus knowledge that Lex provides on home entertainment systems. Don't hang another TV, install another surround sound system or attempt to increase connectivity throughout your home w/o calling Tech Guyz for a consult first! Thanks, Tech Guyz!
Lex did our TV setup and he was super helpful! He was here on time, and worked with us to understand our needs and made sure he gave us all the options before he proceeded to get the TV mounted. He worked very carefully and did a thorough job, both with the setup as well as the post setup cleanup. The TV looks fantastic! Thank you for your work!
I got my parents a new tv and soundbar for Christmas and decided to have the tech guyz to mount it and hook it all up. I wasn't there when he came to install but he was very friendly to my parents and made sure everything was hooked up and running smoothly. He made sure to explain how everything works to my parents so they know how to use the tv. A day later there was an issue with the soundbar and he came back right away to fix the problem. I was very pleased with their service and would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Tara K.Following up after their comment: my issue was not the fact that they didn't hook everything up to work because I was well aware of our lack of wifi. The issue was that 1) they didn't even bother to plug anything in and especially 2) didn't respond to my email asking to follow up. Looks like the only way to get them to respond is by posting a Yelp review. :(
I booked Tech Guyz to hook up my equipment after a move. They came and mounted two TVs and were supposed to set up two Sonos Playbars. The gentleman who came was nice but after he left we realized he didn't plug or connect the Playbars or hook anything up. Basically, we paid almost $400 for something our handyman could do for $50 - mounting our TVs. Worse, I emailed them about this and never heard back.
Lex was amazing, he got the service call right on all points. Timely, efficient, skilled, and left us satisfied with the installation of our new TV. Highly recommend this service!
ABSOLUTELY APPALLING customer service!!! These guys were subcontracted by Best Buy to deliver and install a 55"" TV yesterday between 8am-12pm. Didn't hear from them until 12:16 when they called to say that they could come over but needed a confirmation that I would be home. Somehow I missed that call and when I called back at 12:37 I got their voicemail, but it was full so could not leave a message, twice!. Finally their dispatcher called me back at 12:53 to say that they had gone to the next appointment but could come back to me after that.
I waited all afternoon, called them back at least 4 more times but was unable to leave a voicemail, and they never turned up or even returned my call. When I rang Best Buy this morning they said that the Tech Guys had brought back the TV to their warehouse yesterday at 6pm.
I have never experienced more unprofessional service. HOW CAN A DELIVERY AND INSTALL SERVICE NOT HAVE ANYONE ANSWERING THE PHONE???? Or not practice simple but essential tasks such as calling customers within the delivery window when they know that they won't be able to make the scheduled time???
Net result for me is that I have wasted an entire day waiting for these guys and no delivery, and the next available date from Best Buy is Dec 31! Thanks a lot Tech Guys, I never write Yelp reviews but I am so appalled by your service that I think everyone should know.
Anne S.Lex did an awesome job! We had the TV mounted and a painting hung. He was in and out in under 40 minutes. He knew exactly what he was doing and even gave some good suggestions. He was patient as I discussed different height options with my husband over the phone and even held the TV up so I could take a picture. -- The TV looks great! We could not have asked for a better experience. Quality work and reasonable prices, we would recommend the Tech Guyz to anyone.
