Ryan Lewman spent ten years gaining experience as an electrician, rapidly progressing from novice to journeyman, and then to foreman and chief electrician for the contractor he worked for. Realizing that his career had constraints, Ryan decided to pass his certification exam and passed with remarkable results. Lewman Electric was created by Lewman Electric, and while he’s qualified to handle large-scale industrial projects, he prefers to maintain his operation small, allowing him and his team of expert electricians to provide the highest quality service possible. We decided to go with Lewman Electric based on all the positive feedback we read about. They lived up to their reviews. They presented me with a timely bid to replace our outside box and breakers, They showed up on time, and completed the job as promised. Kyle and Stephen were tremendous to work with. They were very courteous and professional and took pride in their work. I am so happy and appreciative for all they did. If you are looking for quality, friendly and honest people, look no further. Thanks!!!

Lewman Electric did a fantastic job! The job was done quickly and everything looks fantastic. Mike and Kyle and their team are true experts. I have a historic home with complex electric issues, with so many experts on one job site nothing was an issue. I felt the pricing for each item was clear and fair. I felt the team went above and beyond. Everyone on the team was pleasant to work with. I will definitely be recommending Lewman Electric to all my friends and family. I will hire them again in the future! Fantastic service!

Kyle Meechan and his apprentice, Larry, came yesterday morning and installed recessed lighting in two rooms, installed a ceiling fan, installed an outlet for an over-the-stove microwave and did an upgrade on our elctrical panel. The work was done quickly and professionally and they were also very congenial. My husband is a carpenter and has done electrical work himself, and he was very pleased with the work they did. We have a few more electrical projects planned in the future and we will definitely be using their services for those, too.

Great experience. They were prompt and reliable and did a fantastic job. It took only a few days for someone to come out and do an estimate, which was less than I thought (around $500 to complete about 4-5 tasks, including fixing the ventilation in the bathroom to vent outside). They were able to come out a couple of days later to do the work, which they finished in about 2-3 hours. They even did a quick job I had forgotten to ask them about. Everyone I talked to at this company, from receptionists to the actual electricians, were polite, friendly, and professional. Overall, it was a great experience.

Make sure you do your research (I didn't do enough) and get estimates from more than one electrician. I didn't ask all of the right questions prior to making the appointment.

Talked to Derrick about a home surge protector. He said there was a $25 off special from $300 to $275. Set appointment for Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 2pm. Kyle and Larry were here on time. I was quoted an install price for a patio light and decided not to do the light. Also asked about a fluorescent garage light where only one side worked. Kyle took off cover and reattached the loose wire. The charge was $275 for the surge protector and $125 including service call, troubleshoot, garage light repaired and Whole House Surge Protection.
The surge protector I received was a Square D SDSA1175, a secondary surge protector that retails for $29.34. A Whole House Surge Protector retails for $107, Square D HEPD.
I spoke to Derrick on the phone today (Thurs) and he explained that the $275 was an installed price plus a $125 service call. Isn't $400 quite excessive? I would like to understand the difference in the two products, whole house billed versus secondary installed. Did I receive what I paid for?

Ryan Lewman's response to one of my three requests:

Merlin,
You purchased the right device and we sold you the proper device. We install hundreds of these units every year.
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied We can come retrieve the unit and refund the $275 you were charged.
Please communicate via email how you would like to proceed.

You never stop learning and for me this is another lesson. Five stars reduced to two stars, the cost of our education.
