In order to take care of this, I needed an electrician who would get a permit from the city to do the work. Jose at Lepton Electric was recommended by an electrician listed on Next Door who was no longer in business. I texted Jose and he was able to come over the next day to check out what needed to be done. He then took care of securing the permit, doing the job and arranging for the inspection.
