Steve was quick to respond to my inquiry (through Yelp*) and was great at communicating thereafter. I needed to add several outlets in my garage, including a 220v outlet for machinery. The quote was detailed and reasonable so we scheduled a date. He was on time and his work was excellent (I have a background in facilities management so know great electrical work when I see it.) He was also very neat--putting down plastic to catch the debris from the sheetrock part of the work. He educated me on a few technical matters as he worked, and is just a super nice dude who's easy to work with. I highly recommend Steven!

Received name through yelp. Emailed and got a timely response. Setup time to stop by my home to review projects. Stated that last Tuesday would be a good day since it is supposed to rain and he postponed his job due to the rain and would be by around 2:30 since he was going to do some errands. Around 1:50 pm on Tuesday he called and stated that he would not be done with the project he is on would have to reschedule. Rescheduled for Friday at 2:30. 2:30 came and went. I called and left a voicemail at 2:56. No response by 3:24 pm. I called back and told him to cancel that I will look for someone else. If he did not want to come and look at the project, should have been upfront and told me. I made sure I was home by the time both appointments were made and he wasted my time. As of today, no response.

As a real estate broker, I have hired many service providers on behalf of my clients over 25 years. Few have impressed me with their level of care, professionalism and amiability as Steven from Legacy Home Electric. When it comes to the electrical system, safety is my highest priority and it was essential to have confidence in the person doing the work. I asked Steven to install a level 2 charger for my EV, a new smart thermostat and an additional outlet in my kitchen. Steven consulted with me about the equipment I needed to purchase prior to his arrival and took the time to explain the condition of my electrical service once he did. He told me exactly what he would be doing and I decided to go with a higher amperage installation than I currently need in order to accommodate what my potential needs will be in the future. His installation of all three items was impeccable and everything is working great. He is fastidious and cleaned up afterwards, which is greatly appreciated.
I cannot recommend Legacy Home Electric highly enough and will certainly look forward to hiring him again in the future!
