I was fortunate enough to find Mr. Leal to install an EV charger. He is kind, professional, and experienced, and provides good work for a fair price. He made quick work out of the install, and did a quality job. I will definitely use Mr. Leal for any future electrical needs, and hope you have a similar experience. Ignore the paint damage on the drywall - it's an old house.

He came out quick which I appreciated. But when he got there and saw I had a nice EV he suddenly wouldn't give me an estimate. We both agreed it was a super easy job to drill through one single wall. But he kept pretending it was much harder than it was. Finally he said ""what do you think $500?"" I said said that's very high for such a quick job. He said it's not so easy. I have to drill through the wall. Blah blah. Sadly I had made the mistake of letting him know that my EV was out of battery and I was desperate.

Finally, we negotiated down to $450 and I wasn't happy. So, I decided to time him. The job was over in 18 minutes. $450 for 18 minutes. This guy is a rip and will scam you.

I reached out to Arturo Leal, based on some excellent recommendations, and I wasn't dissapointed. Arturo initially visited my home to scope out the work, discuss my installation expectations and objectives. He provided me a bundled quote based on all of my electrical project requirements, to be done in one visit. While the 240v 40A EV Charger install in my garage was my primary requirement, the extra AC outlet in the bathroom (for our Toto bidet) proved to be the most challenging installation because there was no nearby electrical source (ie, like another nearby light switch of AC outlet on an opposite wall). After taking only 45 min to install our EV Charger in the garage, Arturo turned his attention to the bathroom AC outlet installation. Arturo visited our attic, above our bathroom, and determined he could tap into another AC outlet by snaking the necessary wiring into the attic. Arturo made a small access hole in our bathroom wall, about 2-3"" below the ceiling, completed the necessary wiring and installation of a GFCI socket and patched the wall so that you wouldn't even know that he had accessed the attic via the bathroom access hole. Nice job, Arturo.. very pleased with your workmanship, professionalism, quality of work and overall value.
