Unplugged something from an outlet and lost electricity to MBR and Living Room (where modum and router located, therefore critical to solve asap). Tried resetting the breakers many times Saturday night & Sunday morning, did not work. Called on a Sunday morning and Laurence was not available, BUT on the phone he suggested it may be a loose wire in an outlet and gave guidance on how to determine this. And, like magic, my power was restored without paying for an 'emergency' electrician. I'm very grateful his expertise helped solve my problem!

Was in a emergency when breaker went out at 7pm and fridge and other appliances went out. Laurence helped us out so much over the phone, great response and very helpful and luckily everything was fixed . Highly recommend!!!

Although I cannot say Laurence has completed work for me, I will say he appears to be very knowledgeable and honest. In describing the work I needed, Laurence was quick to point out he was probably not the right fit and generously provided a number of recommendations on who to call. This was Sunday 28 FEB 2021. Was trying to cook our 10 month old baby breakfest and run the dishwasher and the power kicked. We called two other electric places and none could come out or help til Monday the earliest. Called Laurence up, explained the situation and he walked me through what to check and try first, sure enough it worked. He knew the type of electric box our house had and what the issue was without video call or coming out. Then didn't charge us for the service call. Coming back to him for our future work, can't beat that experience.

About 15 months ago we had two outdoor lights replaced on either side of our garage by Laurence. Just recently when replacing the bulb, the lantern would not light. We tried a couple of bulbs to no avail. We bought a new fixture and again called Laurence back to install the new one. In talking on the phone Laurence gave me several reasons why it might not be working and we were able to resolve the problem without any further work or visit. No job for him this time, but because of his honesty and knowledge, we would definitely call him first for any electrical needs!

Laurence is an 'electric detective' that is prompt, thorough and transparent with pricing.
I had just moved in when I lost partial power in my home including power in my infant's room. I called Laurence at 7 am and he actually answered the phone and headed straight to my place that morning. While inspecting the circuits the power triggered back on. Rather than just saying the issue was solved, he insisted on finding the root cause, which was ultimately a grounding issue in a socket, which he fixed. He charged me exactly what he told me he would before arriving. Highly recommend him!
