We mistakenly had a home built from scratch by Lennar, and Lanehart was the company to unfortunately be contracted out to do the electrical. From the onset, we had numerous problems with our breakers tripping...in the middle of dinner the light would go out, our appliances would lose power, threatening to destroy all the food in both refrigerators (not to mention ice melted and ended up on the floors).

In the first year Lanehart came out at least 2 dozen times, installing surge protectors, breaker monitors, and changing out various breakers at least with 6 different brands with different software....breakers that should have been installed to begin with but was probably too costly to have the company do so because they were on the cheap. So we continued to have dinner in the dark, refrigerators going out, and vacuum cleaner shutting down half the house.

Last visit from Lanehart was in Summer of 2017, when all issues seemed to finally be resolved. Now move to Fall of 2019 and we are continuing to have the same problems. But coincidentally, their equipment is only warranted for two years. How convenient since the shit that was installed is malfunctioning again.

I've lived in homes that were over 50 years old and never had issues with breakers that I have now from a home that is not even 4 years old.

Not only do they 'Don't build them like they use to'...but poor service and 'Don't give a shit attitude' has certainly been replaced with what we once commonly experienced and expected from professional curiosity and accountability in the service industry.

Don't install a piece of shit product just because it's cheap. I should not have to constantly replace and have my home serviced (and pay out of pocket) for a product which you installed to begin with, because you, as a company, can't and won't do the right thing.
