The Original Lanai Light was conceived by Bob Steele, who sought a solution to brighten his dim lanai without disturbing his neighbors' spaces in 2006.
He required a light that was safe for outdoor use, low-voltage, and built to last.
When he couldn't find a suitable product, he decided to invent his own.

The response was overwhelming, prompting him and his partners to produce Bob's design, which has blossomed into a successful industry.
