Donald S.Lakeway Electric assisted me with replacing a burnt-out outlet and installing GCFI equivalents in a few standard outlets. The price transparency of this company was excellent. I received a quote for a single visit to replace the damaged outlet. I then inquired how much extra it would cost to replace the other two outlets, and they replied there would be no additional price if everything could be completed in the base service allotted time; otherwise, they would be billed in 30 minute increments. For the same service, another electrician demanded an additional $80 in cash. The two technicians arrived promptly, and they willingly removed their shoes before entering my house, which is unheard of with service providers. Most of the time, I have to ask them to take off their shoes, and some of them will refuse.
They completed their tasks and cleared the mess. After being screwed in, one of the outlet covers was uneven. Without my asking, one of the guys found it and reinstalled it. Overall, very nice service and extremely fair/transparent price. These technicians genuinely care! My go-to electrician from now on will be Lakeway Electric. Highly suggested.
