We recently called Lady B Electric after losing power on a circuit that included our newly installed furnace. The outage happened around noon and Lady B was at our house within the hour. Britt spent an hour trying to run down the problem, but said she would have to return the following day with a helper.
She later emailed us, letting us know when she and her assistant, Jacob, would be at the house. Arriving, they got to work without delay and tracked down the problem to an outlet that was located in a very tight space, in the wall immediately behind the furnace. We found that an outlet in that position was a code violation, and that the furnace installers should have moved the outlet, but Britt and Jacob were able, with difficulty, to gain access to the box, and then install a new box that is now quite accessible, as well as properly grounded.
Throughout the job, Britt kept us informed us about each step she was taking, and made several useful suggestions that would improve the safety and adequacy of the wiring in our 1950s-era house. Britt is intelligent, experienced and well-trained. She and Jacob were both hard-working and personable. If you need an electrician, you would find yourself in good hands. Lady B is highly recommended.

Lady B and her crew are outstanding! We wish we had more stars! After checking her many favorable ratings, we were excited about hiring a local, woman-owned electrical service to upgrade our lighting and to check for other needed updates. We had done quite a bit of research, but also had many questions. Lady B was responsive to all our concerns, and her clear and concise answers and explanations convinced us from the outset that she knew her trade very, very well. She is also skilled in discerning her customers' preferences. Installing new LED lighting in several rooms of our early 80's era home required considerable skill, because of access issues, but the job was promptly and efficiently completed without requiring extensive drywall repair. Lady B also replaced our indoor electrical panel (at a very competitive price) and upgraded circuitry for the kitchen microwave. Lady B is very pleasant and courteous, as is her crew, who clearly enjoy working for her. We are enjoying our new lighting so much, and we see the wisdom of so many of her suggestions. We are grateful to have engaged Lady's B's services.

We love Lady B Electric! Britt and her team are the greatest. Since we moved into our 55-year-old home about two years ago, we have used Lady B for multiple projects: Britt redid our fuse box to redistribute electricity more efficiently throughout our house, brought wiring up to code, installed GFCIs, installed an emergency transfer system to allow us to connect our house and well to a generator during a power outage, reworked electricity to our well pump house, installed wiring to our newly built garage including the charger for our electric car, installed wall panel heaters in the two rooms in our house that were not connected to our central heating, and installed a new circuit breaker panel to handle all the changes and additions made to our electric system (approved by the County and PG&E with flying colors!).

We enjoy working with Britt and her team. They are personable, conscientious, knowledgeable, great at troubleshooting and devising creative solutions. We have every intention of using them for all our future electrical needs!

I don't understand a business that takes the time to come out to a home and take information for an estimate (a fairly big job), tell you they will get back to you no later than a week, then totally blows you off. Yes this happened to me with Lady Bee Electric. I even called after two weeks and was told the bid would be done soon. That was 4 weeks ago. They might be good at what they do, but I'll never know because I'll never use them (nor recommend them). Why not just let me know you can't take on my job and then I wouldn't be left with a bad taste. If they can't even communicate simple things I wonder how communication and timeliness in general would be if I actually hired them. Just my experience, for information's sake...

Where do we begin? We are careful and thorough before we hire anyone for home repair or improvement. We searched for reviews and relied on word of mouth before we hired Lady B- a licensed electrician. We had plenty of electrical concerns around our 2 story house. We had outdated or defective outlets, motion detector lights, and light switches. We had an old overhead, wooden kitchen box that made the kitchen seem smaller. They removed the box and installed modern inset lights with dimmer switches. We said ""Wow!"" as our kitchen and lighting was so much nicer. Lady B and her crew were here for several hours on 2 different dates addressing all of our concerns-
Sometimes, words of gratitude are truly inadequate; but, THANK YOU Lady B and crew for your superior and professional work.

My dad was an electrician who worked on big projects in the Bay Area (including BART and the Stanford Linear Accelerator), so my standards are high. We were willing to wait for Lady B, based on the reviews, and our expectations were exceeded. Lady B consulted with us on our needs and gave us options. Given good choices, we replaced a seriously ugly fluorescent light in our kitchen with beautiful can lights that show off the original 1920s cabinets, replaced freaky old motion-detector lights with smart new products, and so on. We have more work to do and we trust Lady B and the people in her company. My dad, if he were still around, would be so impressed with Lady B and crew. Their work is careful, aesthetically thoughtful, and beautifully executed. They will work with you on what you need and are able to do. Lady B knows her stuff and if you can get on her schedule she's well worth the wait.

Brit was very helpful over the phone, even though she didn't come out to do the work! When I called, she was kind enough to troubleshoot a little with me. I totally understand why Lady B. is busy, so they couldn't get out super soon. So, even though I contacted another 5-star yelp electrician who happened to be able to get out quicker for this small job, I would totally contact/use Lady B. in the future.

I've had Lady B and their crew take care of several electrical issues in my home and find them to be top notch. They are respectful, knowledgeable, competitive in pricing, nice to have in the home and show up when they say they will. Plus they always return calls! That shouldn't be a big deal but anyone who has worked in construction knows it is. I would award more stars if I could.
