Choice Home Warranty set up an appointment with LaCuesta for a service call to my home for a Saturday morning, about an electric breaker problem. I waited a while and decided to call to confirm. LaCuesta acted like they never heard of me and just asked me what my problem was. I described the problem as far as I could. Long silence. I asked him if they were contractors for CHW and certified electricians. After a long hesitation, he said yes, then said I had an attitude for daring to question him and hung up. If I hadn't called, I would have vainly waited four hours for LaCuesta to show up. Needless to say, it was unbusinesslike and a total waste dealing with these people. Some of the Yelp reviews dating back to 2015 were positive. Maybe their attitude has changed between then and now.

I should have know when he asked me to call him to remind him of our appointment that i shouldn't expect much. I had one day to get some ceiling fans installed, which i told him. I texted him the day of to see if he wanted to come an hour earlier. He said he was busy w a job. I reminded him that i had to get it done today so i didn't mind sticking to the original time we set. I never heard back from him and he never showed up or called.

So thats the kind of business this guy does. If he gets a bigger job he'll flake on you. Or maybe he just is flaky. Who knows.? I have 3 careers and am too busy for business morals like that. In the era of reviews and yelp, who does that? Too bad. No aloha.

I was very hopeful with hiring an electrician located in my neighborhood to do a small job at my home, but alas, no. There was a review that when called, this company responded quickly. Another review noted saving $ in the thousands, but I guess my small job was not worth the time. In my situation, I've been trying to work out something with this company since 2 November 2015 and only today (7 December 2015) was told that they were not available (""busy"") after previous communication noted availability. I was in no rush to get the repair done, but now, I am in need of this repair. I am very disappointed with the communication with this company.

The service was very timely and professional. I drilled a hole in my A/C wire. Rod came within 45 minutes, fixed the problem quickly, was very reasonable with the cost and he was very friendly. I would recommend him to anyone.

Renovating? Need small kine electrical fix? These guys are on time with really really reasonable fees! We have compared and hires many electricians and by far they have surpassed our standards! Rodel (the owner) is young but with lots of experience and we even got to know him a little on a personal level. I highly recommend him!
