My A/C broke down last week in the middle of the heat wave. After multiple attempts to get assistance with a defective circuit breaker, I called Knightworks Electric shortly after 5 pm. I am fairly certain Steve had just gotten home after a long day--he sounded tired on the phone. After hearing my sad, hot story of A/C woe (91* F in the house!), he gave a deep sigh and told me he would be there in 15 minutes. To make a long story short, he replaced my circuit breaker in less than 15 minutes, and my A/C was up and running for a very reasonable price! When I thanked him for being so kind on such short notice, he answered sincerely that without customers his business would not be successful and he appreciated my call.

Steve picked up his phone the first time I called, was prompt, very nice fellow... found a weird puzzling issue and in a few minutes had it figured out and repaired. Very reasonable price too. Highly recommended!

I would NEVER recommend this yahoo. AVOID. AVOID, AVOID. Knight of Knighswork. He over charged me by at least $1000. He wrote a work order that only he could understand and would not redo it so I could understand what I was paying for. I ""just had to trust him."" He charged me for work he never did. He had a friend of his in a PG&E shirt come by to say what a great guy he is. He had me take off work (many times) to meet him at prearranged times, and he may show up 4 hours later or not at all! On top of that he was condescending and mean. Too bad there are no MINUS STAR ratings.

They should receive less than one star for the action they have done to small customer. I called them to setup a ceiling fan installation back in February and they say they are backed up till mid March. I agreed to the time line and waited for a month for the appointment. On the day of the installation, they called after their appointment time to tell us that they cannot make it to the appointment. Furthermore, they refuse to reschedule the appointment and tell us to call someone else. COME ON.... if you want to pull this stunt, DON'T MAKE PEOPLE WAIT FOR YOUR MONTH LONG APPOINTMENT, at least have to curtest to call ahead to apologize. This sort of shady business practice is not acceptable and that tells you the quality of their business!!!

We had a kitchen outage and called Steve at 4 p.m. He answered the phone right away and was extremely professional and helpful. He diagnosed the problem over the phone and was at my house and fixed the problem before 5:30 p.m. that day.
He explained everything and was reasonably priced. Very thankful he was there to help us out and would definitely call on him for help again.

He did a great job and was super professional. Even though the work took a bit loner than expected he stayed true to his quote. Very happy and will hire again when I do my bathroom.

I had been smelling burning plastic randomly in the kitchen for over a month, but couldn't trace it to any appliance. I had never hired an electrician and didn't know who to call, but I found Knightworks' phone number online. In five minutes, the nice man on the phone explained exactly how to locate the problem, even though I didn't know any of the electrical terms. I did what he said, and found it just fine! It turned out to be simple enough that we could fix it ourselves, so we didn't need to hire Knightworks this time, but we definitely will when a major problem comes up.

I scheduled an appointment to get a bid on some electrical work at my house. The owner showed up a half hour early for the appintment and stated that he only had 5 minutes. I showed him the work we needed done (the whole time he seemed bothered and impatient). He said that he would be in touch with me to give me a bid. That was 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard a thing from him. We've moved on to another electrician.

I called up Knightworks to fix a few minor electrical issues at our house... he was able to come the same day. Was right within his time window and fixed both problems quickly and without issue. Price was reasonable and Mr Knight is very affable and approachable which I also appreciated. He answered all of my questions and didn't seemed ""bothered"" by what were probably elementary (to him) questions.
I would highly recommend to anyone needing electrical services.

My kitchen light went out, and the most I know about fixing lights is changing the bulbs. These were halogen lights, so the difficulty level was a little bit higher, but after changing the lights, I was still standing in the dark. That's where Steve from Knightworks comes in.
He did a great job! He gave me a 2 hour window for coming the next day, and stuck to it. He showed me different possibilites of what the problem could have been, and what I can do next time to fix it myself. It ended up being the transformer which he changed, and now my lights work.
If I have any electrician needs, in Davis I would go with Knightsworks.
