Contracted through First American Home Warranty for a simple outlet repair. The electrician arrived 4 minutes before the end of the 4 hour window to diagnose the outlet and then not have any parts with him. Plus he didn't have time to fix it and repair that day. Scheduled another day to come out and fix the outlet, but electrician was a no show. Called them and they lied about the service appointment date and time. Rescheduled again and they came out with the wrong part, so they had to pick up the correct one and come back same day. Such incompetence, unprofessional behavior and terrible customer service. Wasted so much time just waiting on them. Clearly they don't care about warranty contracts because they can't price gouge. Look for another electrician if you need work done in a timely manner.

I was experiencing electrical issues in my game/ workout rooms. Kirk Star was sent out to me via my home warranty company.
Rashad came out to service my home, he was able to find the problem and was able to restore power to both of our rooms within 45minutes. He replaced 2 broken outlets & our broken circuit breaker at the main panel. Efficient, Respectful, Knowledgeable . I'll be looking to contact Kirk Star outside of my warranty company for extra work!

Highly recommend K/S/E for ur electrical dilemmas. I had partial power outage in my home, 1/2 of my kitchen, 2 bdrms & a bthrm. Was contacted by KIRK STAR ELECTRICAL via HomeServe, home warranty protection service. When Leo arrived I showed him how when u switch on the bdrm light, the bthrm light would turn on. 2nd bdrm had no power. The microwave was out, 4 of 6 kitchen ceiling lights & the oven/broiler was out, although burners worked. The refride was ok, luckily. Also some living rm outlets weren't working. Very odd situation here. (At least the A/C was still good)
Since Leo arrived mid afternoon, he wasn't able to fix all my problems. Said he'd have to come back cuz this might be an all day job. Before he left, he did fix the bthrm light, which resulted in supplying power to 1 bdrm. STRANGE. Unfortunately, the pandemic & his expertise in high demand, he wasn't abe to return promptly. The only rm w/o lights was my rm & I could live w/ that.
When Leo returned, he repaired my bdrm light switch, which magically fixed all the other electrical problems.
Weird. In 30min, Leo had me up & running again.
Long story, short version... call LEO at KIRK STAR ELECTRICAL for any electrical bugs in ur hse. His knowledge & expertise will show u he's quite the professional.

Leo Kirk, the owner, just left my home. He came out as part of our home warranty to fix a completely dead outlet. Most of the time, I expect a prolonged, awful experience when dealing with my home warranty repairs. This was the opposite. Leo assessed the problem, said he could fix it immediately, and did it. He also made a respectful recommendation to upgrade our electrical panel. I was so impressed with his professionalism, kindness and honesty. I will definitely call him when need electrical work completed at our home.

Horrible experience. Was contracted through my Home Warranty Service to repair my circuit breaker, and when the technician left, half of my power was out. I called their customer service rep who was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. I simply asked for the technician to come back to troubleshoot the issue (since they didn't arrive with any parts to fix it), and she was extremely aggressive, talked over me, gave me no options to ameliorate the situation. Would never hire this company.

The electrician actually broke a lightbulb in the light socket and didn't even clean up the broken lightbulb. It also took them almost a month to write the report I needed to send to the homeowners insurance, and that was because of the constant calls and emails on my end. Don't use this company!! Horrible company that calls themselves ""electricians!""

STAY AWAY. This company will take your money and run away. We were assigned to them by our warranty and after their tech came to check the broken outlet and received the payment fee, we never heard from them again. Hung up on the customer service from our warranty, then did not pick up the phone when they tried calling again. Worst company I have ever seen. If you can't fix a dang outlet, you should not call yourself or company an electrician!

The electricity went out in a section of our house, and Kirk Star was arranged through our Home Warranty Service. This occurred Thursday, a claim was submitted the same day, and they weren't able to come out until the following Wednesday. The electrician wasn't able to fix it, said he'd have to report back and they'd reach out. Didn't hear anything back, I called that Friday, they said they were just then submitting a report to the warranty company, even though they had been by 2 days prior. Saturday, and the warranty company calls, saying they've received no update from the electrician. I tried calling them Monday, and was sent straight to voicemail. I left a voicemail that morning, and no response yet. Almost two weeks with no lights on a portion of my home, and since they already have my money they seem in no rush to assist.

I was under considerable pressure caught between a Housing Inspector and a nasty Slumlord when I contacted Leo. He was well-spoken, affable, knowledgeable, courteous and professional, assuring me that he could and would handle the assignment to the complete satisfaction of all parties concerned.

Kirk was patient and flexible, he could juggle his schedule to fit my project in and even procure the permit, if necessary. He strikes me as a cheerful ""CAN DO"" gentleman and I found his quotes reasonable compared to many others.

I will not hesitate to hire Leo for any electrical needs. PS: His Feedback on Thumback is glowing as well.
