Kirby Electric moved us to 200 amps, installed a new panel, and ran several new lines to accommodate our move to 100% electric. We were cursed with the PG&E rep from hell, who wasn't able to get off the dime and delayed our approval for months. Adam was able finally to get her tossed and get a new rep, and then things moved ahead rapidly. If only for his incredible patience during this time, I would give him 5 stars! But his crew's work was very clean, very thoughtful, and they did excellent work and laughed at a majority of my jokes. It was great to feel I could just let them do their thing without hovering or double-checking. Adam went beyond the call of duty several times, including patiently explaining to my plumber (over the phone), who was about to mis-wire the water heater, how to do it correctly. And their price was very reasonable. He has done several panel installs for a relative, who praised him to the skies.
I found, to my surprise, that a good electrician is very hard to find. I think I talked to 6 others before calling Kirby. Some had a poor understanding of code, wanted to do the job illegally (without permits), were flaky, and/or simply didn't have the knowledge needed. Finding a competent, reliable, honest electrician in Kirby made my life a lot easier!

I live in an old house with bad wiring. We started having major shorting out throughout the house. Kirby sent out Anthony, who started troubleshooting and tracking down the problems. He found the shortages and crossed wires and was able to fix everything. Plus, have PG&E redo their connections at the pole all in 4 hours. What an outstanding employee! He is a great guy and is easy to get along with and knows his stuff. I highly recommend them.

Kirby Electric installed 14 recessed LED lights + 3 light switches for my vaulted ceilings. There's no attic space and luckily I had an upcoming re-roof project where the electricians can access the top and run the wiring. Adam (owner) worked with me on a very tight schedule that unfortunately kept getting changed by the roofer. On the day of project, he sent a crew of 4 guys to get the job done in one day, totally impressed with how efficient they were and left the area clean after the job was finished. Hands down, Kirby Electric provides the best value when it comes to price and quality, my wife and I will definitely be reaching out to them for future electrical needs!

Not only that they are very knowledgeable and get the job done quickly, their customer service is purely awesome!! Adam responds text and takes action so quickly. I called Adam, the owner of Kirby electric to discuss options of how to brighten my kitchen by adding lights and replacing existing cans with LED. He spent about 15 minutes on the phone with me and gave me some great options with a very reasonable quote. We then communicated by text with the products and installation logistics.

Within a week, my recessed lights are installed! His assistants Anthony and Michael showed up on time and did a very professional and efficient job. I was picky about smudge parks and the new light fixtures being in line with the older ones and it came out perfect! Thank you!

I reached out and set up for an electrician to come out and check out our garage to install a 240v outlet for our Tesla X, but was basically stood up. I made every effort to stay home and finally received a text message saying they would come at a certain time (refer to photo) but they never showed up, followed up, or apologized for missing this appointment. It's very unprofessional and unreliable. I was relying on them to instal the outlet as soon as possible as we cannot keep charging our car elsewhere with 2 children under 2, so it is unfortunate that we experienced this with this company.

Finally! A responsive electrical contractor that does good work and is willing to discuss the details and work with me (the homeowner) so that I can get what I want.

They replaced a couple of old load centers and the wiring is neat and tidy. Of course, not everything went according to plan because of parts and equipment shortages but they were on time and cleaned up so that everything was in the same state as when they showed.

At the end of the day what matters most to me is how issues are resolved. Adam (owner) is available and responsive whether it's text, email, or phone and is willing to get into the details and discuss things.

I called them today to ask if they were available to check a outlet. I had my tenants contact info and they were able to fix over the phone! Super nice folks- no charge! I'll be happy to recommend them for any job - big or small! My tenants are also lovely
